So the humor's subjective, no biggie. Most funny game for me was Eat Lead/Matt Hazzard, and same deal for reviewers there. I'm glad they tried, regardless.

@NEStalgia I dunno. And yes the symbol means VERY different things between the nations. But the censorship on behalf of China is frightening. As in -outright- frightening. I don't care, left or right; cultural genocide and human rights abuses are happening ad- wholesale, and that is not some right-wing propaganda. How people see China as a get-rich-quick market, and not, "Yeah, let's not support that" is terrible.

And I agree on the awards, Animal Crossing far and AWAY was the most awesome game of the year, it practically was loved by everyone and made lockdown bearable.

@nessisonett Nor is it what anyone said. And "too in my face" is offensive to anyone, it's the very nature of "in my face". It's a disservice as well, to continually misread criticism as "violence". Gay or any non-hetero relationships DON'T bother people, it's the constant pandering or activism. Likewise for media. Pandering isn't the media, it's the pandering.

I think a great example believe it or not is Lego. For YEARS, they always had female astronauts, police officers, basically anything in their build lines always had representation. They never made any pronouncements or activist statements, but it had always been there. Nobody wrote articles, but I always noticed it, and thought it was all the more cool for it.

The Smash community has some rather -obvious- issues to deal with before they can claim ANY moral highground.

The core problem is the gamers themselves. Very few have had to deal with repercussions out in real life, only in games which are by nature, impersonal. It's the nature of the beast, life experience comes from life, not from games, so most gamers (who start young) haven't had to deal with real life pushback.
