@Anti-Matter article about BotW / TotK, neither of which you've got into, yet you somehow still manage to spin it into a PlayStation 5 game that's unrelated?!
Do you not use this sites sister site, Push Square? That's PlayStation focused and might be a better place to discuss PlayStation games.
@CupidStunt don't Nintendo need permission from the third parties and/or pay royalties for putting the games on NSO? If that's the case, either Nintendo didn't believe it would of been worth putting the games on the service, or Sunsoft believe it's more lucrative for them to release the games in this way.
@DogDetective maybe through (whispers) Limited Run Games as they've been on a roll lately with their retro collections - Gex, Bubsy, Tomba just to name a few.
I know a lot of people knock them, but I'd put an order in if they made it happen.
@Anti-Matter Two things. 1) At least three of the above games (Yorha, Final Fantasy VII, TMNT Cowabunga Collection) have already had releases on cart, most of which came out a long time ago.
2) Most physical PlayStation games don't have the full game on disc. You are often having to download masses of data, sometimes 50gb+

Re: Nintendo Notes A Rise In Research And Development Costs As 'Switch 2' Looms
@GameOtaku of course research costs come into this. The two costs are interrelated and are both incurred in creating any new product.
