I had to send my switch back to have it reapaired. In the mean time I'm going to play some old gems for 3ds/nds/gba. I'm currently playing Hotel Dusk room 215 on my o3dsxl. So far it's great.
@IceEarthGuard I respect your opinion even though I do not agree with you. I liked the cut scenes a lot: they made me care about the characters (even the stupid girl) and the professor gags were kinda fun. I was not annoyed by rotom as much as you and other users: I simply ignored it when it had nothing useful to tell and found it pretty useful sometimes because it helped me avoid wandering around trying to figure out where whas the place I needed to go. The graphic was the best of the series in my opinion (even though it was a bummer that it didn't implement the stereoscopy) and the story was intriguing enough to keep me playing. I loved some characters: the professor and hau most of all. What really got me was probably the hawaiian setting (together with the music):: I found it deeply inspired and inspiring, so much so that I would like to revisit alola on switch in fullhd. In my opinion usum were the best 2017 games together with botw (yeah, I rate them above odyssey). Still, it's just my personal opinion, not a fact. Just to be clear: I'm almost 23 and I've played most of the main series games (and most of the spin-off ones as well).
Ghost trick! Advance wars characters! Okabe rintarou from steins;gate! Crash and spyro! Carl from gta san andreas (not gonna happen for obvious reasons)!
@oatmaster I see. I do like other art-styles for 2d games, it's just that celeste is an incredible game, in my opinion, even though I recognize that pixel-art is not necessarily the best artstyle. Anyway, it would be interesting to play an entire level of celeste with the kind of graphic you mentioned.
OT: did anyone else love the painted something level art quote in nsmbudx? Van gogh style!!!
@oatmaster I actually like its pixel-art-style even though I recognize that it doesn't appeal to everyone. Maybe it just reminds me of the good old nes games (my dad bought me a nes with some games like mario 3 when I was 4, in 2000) and some gba/nds games.
@Aslanmagic if you just play for the story it is not too difficult and the learning curve is well calibrated. You can unlock a b-side for each level which is quite difficult (i would say that level-3 b-side is harder than the normal last level). After completing all b-sides you unlock c-sides which are way harder (i would say that c-side of the first level is as hard as b-side of last level). I have currently completed only the first c-side and did not get all strawberries yet. Anyway... Celeste is definitely more difficult than new super mario bros u deluxe but also a far more satisfying experience both gamplay-wise and story-wise. Each level needs to be mastered: it's not just about reflexes, it's about learning. It's a true masterpiece, one of the best games I've ever played. Even super mario bros 3 pales in comparison.
Excited for wargroove and celeste dlc. Also my gf has been trying to talk me into playing portia for quite some time now, so if they announce its release date for switch... Maybe. Also open to new unexpected indie awesomeness. Too early for next matt makes games game? Also... Florence port? I would instantly double dip, that game made me cry when my gf made me play it.
IF Detective Pikachu turns out to be a good movie then I would totally be up to a Pokémon Cinematic Universe, PCU. It would probably be the only one able to rival MCU, in a decade or so... Are you hyped for Pokémon: infinity war already?
I didn't get to play it on 3ds but its artstyle is really inspired and inspiring so bravely third would be a great addition to the switch library I think.

Re: God Of War's Art Director Is Still Drawing Realistic Smash Bros. Characters, And They're Amazing
Mewtwo is simply awesome. It is probably the best artwork featuring mewtwo I've ever seen. I would love to see mew too, even if it is not in smash.

@Tantani I had the same idea about Infinity Plates and Arceus
