Everyone thought the PS3 and Xbox were deal platforms well into their first year. This coming Christmas season will really tell us the state of things.
I love Nintendo. I love their hardware and their games. If Nintendo left the hardware business, it would be a bigger blow than the day Sega went software only. That was a sad day indeed.
Nintendo should start pushing the most anticipated title. Let's face it, X was the most impressive offering. X looked like a real next gen offering. Nintendo should invest the money, take a chance, and push that sucker hard. I'm talking teasers on TV, trailers in theatres, and so on. Nintendo needs to start taking risks again in my opinion.
Some quality first party releases on top of a price cut just in time for Christmas will help push lots of units. I'm still feeling quite positive regarding the Wii U. I am however feeling quite negative regarding EA. I'll have a hard time supporting their products in the future.
Where's the damn advertising? I love the Wii U but c'mon Nintendo start marketing it properly. Make it clear to everyone that this IS a next gen system compatible with existing Wii titles. None of this corny happy family playing games together garbage! This system has massive potential. Please don't screw this up!!

Re: First Impressions: Bayonetta 2
Never played the first one. Not sure what to expect. Either way, I'll hate waiting until 2014 to find out.

State of gaming is pretty terrible. Game budgets are way out of control and they're taking years to develop. Thank goodness for indie developers!!
