@mezoomozaa yes and it somehow makes them more money than making new games sadly. Nintendo used to be full of brilliant artists, now it is a corporate nightmare.
@Wavey84 I'd give the direct 2 out of ten and feel generous. Especially after 500 days and considering it was 47 minutes of nothing great. Commenters who complain about complaining, I want to know what in this direct or the last year could possibly thrill them as the new first party content is nonexistent and everything else is extremely niche.
LOL I can't say I'm surprised. Ports, and remakes and shovelware, oh my! I'm supposed to be happy that instead of finishing botw 2, they put out a mediocre Zelda game I beat before my 9 yr old son was even born. Yuck.
The Switch was thrilling and full of innovative new games for the first year. The last few years it's become a portable gaming museum for 2013-2016. And sadly this works for Nintendo. Easy money for very little effort. They should rename it "Wii U 2 handheld". My kids wanted to play 3d World so we dug out the old version. They were happy and I spent $0.00.
@Clyde_Radcliffe of course that is true. My point is that it's disappointing Nintendo themselves are selling more consoles than ever but making no AAA games because the cash flows regardless.
@NotoriousWhiz I play a few I just don't count them as "Nintendo" games. Played Stardew on Switch and it's great. My point was this list shows that due to a lack of new or original material, switch users are forced to rely on third party material or aged retreads.
No doubt the blind defenders will jump in, but really sad to see this cash cow console keep rolling without developing any high quality new software. The third place game was originally released almost seven years ago. Switch came out firing with Botw, Odyssey, Splatoon 2.... and that was pretty much it. Not interested in eshop games, ports, or rereleases. Sad nintendo noises...

Re: Nintendo "Doesn't Have Anything To Share" About Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Right Now
@SalvorHardin but now they ran out of old wii u games so they stoop to original wii games that weren't even that good
Re: Nintendo "Doesn't Have Anything To Share" About Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Right Now
Nintendo: "You shall get nothing, and like it. Buy some of our old games again thx"

Re: Nintendo Reveals Splatoon 3, Coming To Switch In 2022
Only cool announcement for me... until it said 2022 and my son said "OH CMON!"
Re: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Hits Switch This July Alongside Themed Joy-Con
@Nerdfather1 what are we supposed to be excited about? It's a bunch of old stuff, sketchy stuff, and a Splatoon thats forever in the future
Re: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Hits Switch This July Alongside Themed Joy-Con
@Dezzy70 Yeah that was about as disappointing as it can get for a first party game fan

Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, Wednesday 17th February
Hoping it's interesting. But probably

@lighteningbolt79
6 million people played this game 7 years ago.... even the review admits there is no significant difference aside from the bonus
Re: Review: Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury - A Superb Mario Adventure With A Bowser Bonus
#spoiler...Can't wait for Switch ports of Wii Music and Superman 64 as the big ticket games this year!

@TheLightSpirit ummm to advocate for some high quality game releases....sorry if that offends you...which wouldn't make any sense but ...ok...

Re: Random: Disgruntled Fans Spam Nintendo Tweet In Response To YouTube Soundtrack Takedowns
I think Nintendo is moreso losing money by not bothering to make a really good game in like over 2 years.
