Jeff seems like a really down to earth, well adjusted person, which reminds me of another kid champion who grew up to be a decent human being: Josh Waitzkin.
WTH — why is this even a question?? It's like asking if you break into someone's car and get caught, would you get arrested, and how would others feel about you getting arrested lol. In this case a ban is getting off light.
@Lone_Beagle I've never met him either, but once I emailed him to ask a random question and he actually replied with a long, thoughtful response. Great guy with a big heart and humble disposition!
@Devlind maybe #1 where you are, but not in Japan. I wouldn't expect everybody to be into violent video games, especially Japanese (they are more likely to be into things that most westerners find weird).
8th generation huh? Who knew Pokemon and Intel Core CPUs are so in sync — I guess we can expect 9th generation Pokemon to come out shortly after Ice Lake is on the market .
The only "HUGE" thing for me would be a new exciting console that has built-in VR that gives a better experience than PSVR, or something super duper like a mobile Android-based console that can play project onto the wall at 720 native. Anything on the software side wouldn't be huge in my book (I already own most of their collections in one form or another).
Welcome to the dawn of unicorn products, brought to you by old faithful Nintendo — products that are talked about in the press, but you can't actually buy them.
I reckon there won't be much competition. The SNES Classic Edition is smaller, cuter, made by Nintendo, more convenient (just select a game from a menu), more portable (cartridges take up a lot of space), most likely hackable, and plus it's not like you can walk into Goodwill and find all the cartridges for a buck each.
@retro_player_22 Totally agree. There's something wrong with playing Genesis games on a Mini NES, and why bother putting up with the poor 16-bit emulation and UI when a much better experience can be had on your PC, RPi, or even mobile phone.

Re: The Aya Neo Air Is A $600 Switch Lite-Sized Pocket PC
I guess this can become a "portable" game console if you pair it with a 20k mAh powerbank 😅
Re: Hands On: One Man's Vision Shaped The GBA-Style GameForce CHI
I guess it's a decent "labor of love" one-person effort. It reminds me of the GCW Zero in that respect.
Re: Random: Nintendo Switch Is Getting Its Own VR-Style Headset, But There's A Catch
I reckon this accessory is for people who are into screen doors.

Re: Nintendo Bans Online Services For Prominent Hacker's Switch Console
@Razzy the console is still yours, you just can't go online with it

Re: Japan Is More Excited About Nintendo Labo Than God Of War
@Devlind oh really? I didn't know that, but then again, what do I know — I never even played the original .

Yes, that makes sense — why would they be more excited by GoW?

Re: Sega Announces AGES For Nintendo Switch, Mega Drive Mini Console
Now it's PCE's turn to get some love on the Switch ^^.

Re: Review: Axiom Verge (Wii U eShop)
I love to play labor of love games like this and Cave Story.

Coincidentally, both this and Cave Story were developed by one man over five years.

Re: Review: Angry Birds Star Wars (Wii U)
Agreed. This is a $5 game. Someone must've messed up the math.
