Not Groovy! Not Groovy at all...
You forgot 'Evil Dead The Game' for Nintendo Switch coming out May 13! The only Game I care about in May!
Most excited for the centennial case.
No must-buys for me this month, but Cotton Fantasy and the Pac-man collection are tempting, maybe when they get cheaper though.
Kao the Kangaroo looks like it might be interesting. I can't decide if Body Bugs is cute and fun looking or icky.
Anything with the word Prinny instantly scares me.
Picking up Eiyuden Chronicle, Prinny Vol. 2 and Pac-Man Museum! Excellent month!
We have very different definitions of exciting.... May is pretty much dead imo. They should of released Mario Strikers in May, Xeno in June and pushed Splatoon into July.
So bad for not having Advance Wars on that list…
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is on my radar, but I might wait to see if it gets a physical release in some form unless it's a budget eShop game. Pac-Man Museum is definitely one I'd like to get. I'm not really into Disgaea, but the games in NIS Classics Volume 2 are ones I've heard good things about, so I might take a look at that as well.
@NintendoEternity The Switch version was unfortunately delayed. No word on when it's coming yet.
Can't say I'm excited for anything there. Everything interesting came out in March or thereabouts and now we're in a bit of a quiet period in the release schedule. Then June/July is stacked.
Hmm, well nothing new on the Switch for me this month. Thinking of picking up Rogue Legacy 2 and Axiom Verge, been meaning to play the latter for a long time now. A lighter month will help me to catch up on my wishlist a little bit.
I'll wait for a sale. Can't spend any money right now. Plus my birthday is coming in 2 months.
@Clark2k I like your avatar.
@StarPoint Is Rogue Legacy 2 on Switch? I didn't realize that somehow..
@Lyricana the first Rogue Legacy game is on Switch
May is a bust for me. Nothing releasing this month I'm interested in.
But that's OK, because I'm stacked to the hilt with new games.
And I just started a new save file in Splatoon 2, which I'm utterly addicted to all over again.
So I'm good until June when the onslaught starts.
June Onslaught
July Onslaught
Definitely getting The Centennial Case I love solving crime cases, but it will take me awhile because I have 3 games I'm planning to get the next 4 months.
Snow Bros and Cotton Fantasy for me.
PMM+ is gonna be so good because now I can experience the objectively best Pac-Man game not click-bait: Pac-Motos on my Switch
@sfb I mean the second one. They said they were thinking of getting 2.
@Lyricana I don’t think the 2nd one is on the Switch, at least not yet. I meant for my PC
I'm probably getting I'm probably PAC-MAN MUSEUM+ in May.
I’m only interested in Pac-Man Museum but I’ll wait until it’s on sale.
Kinda glad it'll be a slow month. It'll allow me to catch up on some stuff. But, I kinda wish we had mario strikers in May or 3 hopes and have those two in back to back months instead of the same month.
Well, a month to forget.
I’m keen to import the physical releases of The Centennial Case and Pac-Man Museum.
@Uska : And in case you weren’t aware, there will be a Japanese physical release with English on the cart.
There is also a soundtrack set that’s very tempting.
I mean I'm pretty easy to please, but nothing on this list excites me! lol
Hoping for Kirby 64 on NSO this month.
Pretty weak month, I might only get Kao the Kangaroo if it reviews well.
June and July will be packed, so it's actually fine!
Wow, NO insta-buys for me which is unusual. I'll need reviews for all in order to decide. I don't expect I'll purchase much in the actual month of May though.
Eiyuden Chronicles is on my wishlist
Kao the Kangaroo ! 😃
May, aka the one month my backlog can recover before Mario Strikers and Xenoblade 3 in the Summer.
@ReaperMelia E Chronicles : Rising is a sort of side story, going to cost about 15, so don't expect a physical. The "real" Chronicles will probably get a physical, but is still a ways off.
❗️I'll get Pac-Man😶👻 but ONLY when it's physical💾
I can't wait for Pac-Man Museum. I've only played the original Pacman, Pacman Championship Edition 2 and Pacman 99 so VERY excited to try all these new games for the first time!
@Daniel36 I know it's a side game, but part of me can't help but wonder if they'll do some sort of bundle with both games or something like that once the main game is out. I'll honestly probably buy it off the eShop soon-ish if there's no word on a physical release, although I'm not in any particular rush right now anyway with all the RPGs coming this summer and all the ones I still need to catch up on.
Want Cotton and maybe Kao from the list, but you forgot Seven pirates H, which is the most interesting game coming in May
Exciting games? Uh, the Kemco article was more convincing.
@moodycat
Prinny Vol 2 has ZHP and Makai Kingdom
Rhapsody is coming in Prinny Vol 3, which also includes La Pucelle: Ragnarok. I believe the release date for Vol 3 is “summer”
And of course Prinny Vol 1 is already out, including Soul Nomad and Phantom Brave
No must-haves for me this month OR next month unless Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp materializes soon (unlikely). July, on the other hand, contains Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Digimon Survive, AND Live A Live all within a week of each other....
@BlueGBAMicro Pac-Man is getting a physical release. I pre-ordered mine through Amazon.
May is nice and empty. Great time for Silksong or Portal Collection to release.
@ReaperMelia Thankfully I'm buying it for both my Nintendo Switch OLED and my Xbox Series S then!! ❤💚
Kao is actually cheaper on the eshop than it is to buy physical which is ultra rare. Is it a remake/remaster of the original or a reboot?
May is a dead month for me. I'm fine with that though, gives me time to work on my backlog! Need to finish off Kirby and Lego Star Wars first though
If you review the new cotton please mention if it has unlimited continue like the last one not a high score chaser
Cotton Fantasy is the unique i like this list!
@NintendoEternity Yeah, I'm getting it on PS5. If there's no crossplay, I'll probably grab it on Steam by the time it goes there so I can play it with friends.
I Guess '8 Somewhat Diverting Games Coming to Nintendo Switch in May 2022'
doesn't grab attention so much.
May is going to be a catch up month for me. I just finished student teaching, so I have some gaming to do.
@ReaperMelia cool
Already bought the Jp CE version of Cotton (Rock and Roll, had to get that Nendo figure) but Pac-Man Arcade will be another awesome addition to the collection!
@NintendoEternity It will be coming to all platforms except Switch on May 13th. The website says, "ALSO COMING SOON TO NINTENDO SWITCH." Sorry.
@baglunch it's all good 😎👍
I'll enjoy it on my Xbox Series S to unlock the achievements! I'll also Buy it for my Nintendo Switch OLED for the on the Go experience!
