But I thought the Switch was an amazing selling console with no games, Nintendo are doomed etc ect.
Ninja Gaiden Master Collection for me, physically of course. And Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart
@johnvboy well, to be precisely,
Tony Hawk and Destroy All Humans are already available on other platforms since months and the Switch versions will as always be the technical last place.
Ninja Gaiden comes to PS4 on the same day. Alex Kidd as well.
The only real exclusive game here is Mario Golf....
Mario golf for me day one, been looking for a Wii U club sports gold replacement for ages.
Wow, busy month!
Lots of nice games coming out!
So far I've only pre ordered Mario Golf but have many others on my wish list.
Here is hopping that the rest of the year will be like this - full of nice games!
I don't know why Activision are releasing Tony Hawks on the same day as Mario Golf. Are they trying to get their game overshadowed? Seems another poor decision from them like only releasing Crash as download at launch in Europe.
Well I hope it does well regardless. I probably will only be able to afford one of them at launch and it will be Mario Golf for me, but will definitely pick up TH later on.
@Nintendo4Sonic
Is disgaea 6 also a exclusive made for the switch alone?? I thought I read that somewhere here on NL. All the other disgaea games are ports and this 1 was made for the switch atm?
@3DS-TLW
Disgaea 6 is a Switch exclusive outside of Japan.
June has too many releases! My birthday month so it works for me.
Ninja Gaiden Collection
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart
Crimson Red Dualsense Controller
Legend of Mana
Destroy All Humans
Mario Golf
Tony Hawk 1 & 2
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
A short text explanation of the games would be nice, rather than just a list with one picture.
Seriously, need a 2TB microsd to come out. Solid month for me plus playing catch-up on smaller games.
Zombies was one of my favourite games on the SNES so may have a look at this. Or just pull the SNES out again and play it on that. Mario Golf is very tempting though.
New SD Card ordered... this will get expensive :/
Tony Hawk for me, going to relive my late teen years!
Got 2 copies of Mario Golf ordered to play Multiplayer with the MRS.
Everything else that grabs my fancy like Ninja Gaiden I will pick up on Xbox for better performance.
Not a bad month! Mario Golf, Sky and maybe Alex Kidd for me. I don't know anything about Umarangi Generation but from that screenshot I'm curious. Plus Ratchet & Clank on PS5!
I'm very much looking forward to Game Builder Garage and Mario Golf: Super Rush!
Zombies ate my Neighbours looks like the kind of title that makes me tickle and I am also kind of curious about TH, I have never played one before and it looks very chill.
The one I'm really looking forward to though, is Sky: Children of the light
25th, will be grabbing both Mario Golf and Tony Hawk.
Mario golf day 1 also depends on the postman
Tony Hawk for sure (might wait on a discount though) and Game Builder Garage if it lives up to its potential.
Legend of Mana and Disgaea 6 are the most interesting for me. I'm not sure about the new Mario Golf.
Man, what a month! 3 exclusives and a lot of good third party stuff!
Can't wait for Ninja Gaiden, Legend of Mana and Tony Hawk!
Tony Hawks for sure.
Legend of Mana, Ninja Gaiden and Zombies ate my Neighbours at a later date.
Nothing for me til July 9th.......tho I’ll wait for some E3 surprises.
@Nintendo4Sonic,
Not for people that only own a Switch console, we have to look at the bigger picture here, sure there will be people who own a Switch and another console, bur a huge percentage will not.
Ninja Gaiden looks like a lot of fun, but I've heard an awful lot of people complaining about the Sigma versions and how they're inferior. Anyone know any details besides the lack of blood? Personally I couldn't care less if it has blood or not.
@Ryu_Niiyama Either that or I've been saying it'd be great if a new Switch model had two micro SD slots.
"I had multiple Master Systems - there's a reason - not worth telling - "but when I turn mine on it's this guy not that guy!""
I'm going to assume you thought you had to buy a second one with the other guy on the box. If I'm wrong, you should have told your reason. This is now the first possible truth out there on the internet, and you can't take that away from it.
Probably get Legend of Mana later when it is on sale.
@johnvboy that's right. If you only own a Switch, it's a damn good month🙂
That's a very strong lineup! I'm hoping in a few weeks we will have some news on surprise launches for Q3 / Q4.
My sister is getting me Mario Golf as my six month delayed birthday gift by my personal request. Contemplating Fallen Knight and Ender Lillies. But with INTERmission and Ratchet, not sure if I’ll have the time for more games in June yet.
Gosh, June and July are packed with games.
I've read the article twice and still can't find the exciting games. I see a few interesting games that will be better on other systems because Switch is underpowered, but I don't see any exciting games.
Nothing much for me but my backlog is just f*cking ridiculous. I have more games than I could play in a year, working at it eight hours a day, seven days a week. I have to stop buying games.
Mario Golf for me. I might get Game Builder Garage depending on how well it’s received and how in-depth the game building mechanics are. I also might get Tony Hawk... I already have it on PC so I wouldn’t get it right away. Regardless, really solid month!
Mario Golf
Tony Hawk Pro Sk.1&2
Game Builder Garage
are the insta-buys
Ninja Gaiden MS, Disgaea 6, Alex Kidd MWDX, Zombies AMN almost definitely buys as well, but maybe not insta-
Most of the others are wishlisted probably.
I'm rabid for Mario Golf. Cannot wait.
@Giygas_95 I’m already two switch models in (base and DQ edition) and with the price of cards I am just gonna wait for a larger size. Just means I have to keep deleting stuff to make room.
Darius Cozmic Collection and Cotton Reboot for me
@Ryu_Niiyama I already had to archive all the Bioshock, Borderlands, and Resident Evil games plus Witcher 3. I'm not even playing any of them yet, so they were just taking up space.
I already have Tony Hawk and Destroy All Humans on PS4 with no desire to double dip. As a retro gamer, I am excired to play Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Alex Kidd. This is the first I've heard about Fallen Knight, but the screenshot looks intriguing; I'd like to see more before committing. Game Builder Garage and Mario Golf go on my Eventually list, waiting for a Black Friday or Mario Day sale.
@Nintendo4Sonic Well and to also the Switch is killing the PS5 in Japan. The Switch is the number one 9th gen console. S,o companies are flocking to the Switch, bringing these games to new buyers. And, games like DQ XIs Resident Evil Revolations, Hallowknight, Dead Cells, Sakuna of Rice and Ruin and Builders are selling better on the Switch.
@tntswitchfan68 sorry, I don't care. Playstation is the world system, thats the way it is
@Giygas_95 hey there. I played all versions over the years. Ninja Gaiden 1 is in my opinion the best version in the Sigma version. The PS3 version had the best graphics and 60 fps. It was night and day difference to the Xbox version.
About Sigma 2:
Well it looked good and was even enhanced with new bosses and stuff. But it was cut and the graphics were partly weaker than on XBox 360. I would say, the 360 version was better. But even though, Sigma 2 was still very good.
You can't go wrong with the Switch version. Only Gaiden 3 is a mess.
I already pre-ordered for Switch
@Nintendo4Sonic Thanks for the info! I also pre-ordered digitally. I'd like to get a physical copy also since I usually like a digital copy for convenience and a physical one for collecting, but it seems like kind of a pain having to import it.
@Nintendo4Sonic False. The Switch is No1 worldwide. Sorry, that is just how it is.
@Giygas_95 I can understand. I pre-ordered from a store in Germany for 49,99€.
I think that's ok
@Nintendo4Sonic Do physical copies from all regions have English language support? If I get a physical copy I wouldn't want to get one that doesn't have English.
@tntswitchfan68 I know by myself, that the Switch is selling well.
And i really like the Switch as what it is.
But there is no denying, that Playstation, PC and XBox are the places, where the elite gaming happens. Where games are coming, where a Switch owner only can dream for. Where real online gaming is and so on.
@Nintendo4Sonic.
It 's a great month for the wider Switch demographic, the core hobby gamer that posts on internet forums is the minority i'm afraid.
@Giygas_95 my order is a Japanese version, but there is supposed to be English and German text. I wouldn't worry there.
Many Switch games are multi language.
@Nintendo4Sonic,
I am pretty sure both Sony and Microsoft would love games like Animal crossing with it's 30 million plus sales on one platform, I mean those triple AAA elite games are fine with their 10 million sales on average are fine.... but still.
@johnvboy from my friendhood. Some don't own a Switch, one sold his Switch because of its performance. My older brother has one and didn't use it since launch. Most are interested in Xbox, PS5
@Nintendo4Sonic,
So a very narrow niche within a niche does not use the Switch, not sure what that proves, I have several friends that only have a Switch and one who owns all three consoles, and at the moment uses the Switch more because of the portability, now my side still proves nothing, as we would need a much wider market demographic to come up with any clearer results. either way.
My personal take is that Sony and Microsoft reside in the more core gamer market, and even within that there is a more casual customer, whereas Nintendo cater for a more casual demographic as well as appealing to Sony and Microsoft owners as a second or third console.
@johnvboy but that doesn't mean, I don't care about the Switch. Yesterday, 3 games arrived. I bought Psyvariar Delta, Bioshock Collection and Ghostrunner. Tomorrow, I will buy the new Wonder Boy and Sea of Solitude.
And for July, I pre-ordered Zelda Skyward Sword HD, the Zelda joy Cons and the new Amiibo.
So I will use my Switch a lot in the coming weeks. I still play Mario 3D World with my girlfriend and enjoy that a lot.
@johnvboy sometimes it's weird. I really loved the Wii U back than, it had a lot of potential, but the world didn't care. I would have loved to see more big games with 2 screen usage. But it didn't happen.
And now Nintendo runs the business especially in Japan, where no one cared about Wii U.
@Nintendo4Sonic,
Never said you do not care for the Switch, at the moment I do not have a PS5 or Series X, and am waiting until things even out a little and you can buy one in a store or online, I am still interested in them though.
And to be honest even though we do like to see the big two in competition with Nintendo, they are in slightly different markets.
@Nintendo4Sonic,
Me too, the Wii U was a great console as far as I was concerned, it just came out a few years too late and was in a tough marketplace with all those tablet devices etc.
The Switch as a concept is not all that different from the Wii U, but for some reason has struck a cord with a lot more people.
@johnvboy yeah, absolutely. I also think, things would have been different, if the Wii U would have came out 2 years earlier
@Nintendo4Sonic. Tes like Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2, Breath of the Wild, Luigi's Mansion 3, Pokemon, Mario Kart, Animal Crossibg, Xenoblade Chronicles 1 & 2, Splatoon 2. and Super Mario Odyssey. Smash Ultimate and Fire Emblem 3 Houses, and more. Sony, Microsoft and PC combined CANNOT TOUCH the quality of games the Switch has. Does Sony have any 30 million sellers? When was the last time Nintendo released a buggy mess like Days Gone, Returnal, Last of Us 2, and Death Stranding. Big games? Like buggy mess Asasssin's Creed? Call of Duty? You can have them.
@Nintendo4Sonic,
True, but the Wii was doing so well with the DS, that Nintendo pretty much thought they were untouchable at that point, and why kill off the Wii when it was doing so well.
@tntswitchfan68 The Last of Us 2 was my game of the year 2020. Bro, I don't care if some people can't handle Joel's death. The game was a masterpiece and I'm not alone with that opinion.
And Returnal, even if it's tough, is a brilliant game.
Sorry, but I can't take you seriously.
@johnvboy that's right. I really loved the Wii. My god, so good memories. The Wii was kinda special to me. So many 3rd party games, which were totally different on that system. Even if it only featured 480p. I really enjoyed the Wii and a lot of games on it.
I never had problems with the Wii remote, many games played superb with that controller
@johnvboy wanna change Switch friend codes?
@Nintendo4Sonic Returnal is a buggy mess. Last of Us 2 was broken. Sorry, I cannot take you serious.
@Nintendo4Sonic Returnal is a poor man's Hades. Sorry, but no ome should take you serious.
@Nintendo4Sonic No denying? Lol BOTW, Odyssey, XC, etc. Give me a break. Returnal is a mess. There are bugs and game crashes and the gameplay is just boring. The Last of Us 2 was meh. It was just another Sony movie game with the same gameplay and nothing new.
@johnvboy done
@michellelynn0976 I remember you. You're the Nintendo kid. I remember, that talking to you leads to nothing
@tntswitchfan68 I guess you didn't even play these games. But it's OK, you love your Switch and no other console reaches it for you. Accepted
@Nintendo4Sonic Kid? No, I am an adult. Unlike you. Grow up. You are just being biased.
@Nintendo4Sonic Lol swing and a miss. I have played them. I just do not let Sony get a free pass. Unlike you. Accepted that you are biased and so not care about gameplay.
@Nintendo4Sonic,
Added.
Geez, you both can chat on here. Have fun
@johnvboy thanks 🙂
@johnvboy its basically a bunch of Indies, old ports and one exclusive. that's the way Nintendo has rolled for the past 5 years or so.
@Mgene15,
I have more than enough games to play on the Switch, and want to put my efforts into Mario Golf, plus still playing Animal crossing most days.
@Nintendo4Sonic That is very precisely.
@Nintatious what do you mean?
I’m just getting Mario Golf
June to do list:
Game Builder Garage
Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX
Legend of Mana
Mario Golf: Super Rush
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2
Zombies Ate My Neighbor / Ghoul Patrol
Sky: Children of the Light
Ouch.
@Mr-Fuggles777 ninja GAIDEN master collection has the same performance on all platforms
@anoyonmus 4k vs 720 and its showing as 60fps+ on the Microsoft store so could have a 120fps mode on new gen consoles.
@Mr-Fuggles777 true.
At least it is 60 FPS on all platforms though including switch
Can't wait for Disgaea 6, Mario Golf, and Legend of Mana!
