Topic: Thoughts on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers

but man this game is one of the reasons i want a wii. The only thing i want now is a proper multiplayer crystal chronicles game for the wii (echoes of time should have been DS only.)

to bad Square-Enix isn't taking advantage of the holiday season.

I went through like 500 threads to make sure there wasn't one already, if you find one point it out for me.

Hmmm....my thoughts? I've been waiting for this game since the first trailer...I think it was right before the Wii's release. I greatly enjoyed the first Crystal Chronicles. The multiplayer was so fun, and I couldn't wait for another one to come out (on a home console). *On a side note, I still need to get the CC games for the DS.

Once I saw the first trailer for the Crystal Bearers, I thought that it looked more cinematic than the first Crystal Chronicles. 3 years later, I find out that this CC game is going to be a single player game, and the experience is going to be completely different from the first and more like a numbered FF game. I have to say, I'm really excited. I enjoyed the story and characters for the GCN CC, but I think that those things will be fleshed out even more in this newest CC for the Wii.

I can't wait for this game! =D

I want it. It looks kind of like a Zelda game, except instead of a sword you use the force.

I think it's looking like a pretty good game. Gravity powers FTW.

I'm waiting for this since I played it at Gamescom.
From the 10 minutes I played this, the graphics are stunning and the gameplay is perfect.
Definite highlight!

I think it looks pretty good. The gameplay's pretty unique and creative. I'm definitely gonna have to rent it when it's available.

If it didn't come out on the 26th, I'd already have it on my Christmas list. It looks very good and seems to be shaping up to be an awesome action game.

Did you get to play the on-foot parts? I want to know how the controls are for those.

This IS my most anticipated game period. Even more than FF13 and the countless titles I want.

I had no problems, you could right hop into the game if you played games like Mario Galaxy before. The controls couldn't have been done better imo, at least in the main action-adventuring game world (haven't played any of the "minigames").
It was smooth and fluid, even with all those shiny, sharp, colorful, crowded places where I was fooling/psi-ing around.
Everything was so vivid and living, with the wind blowing through clothes and trees.
The graphics are the best I've seen on the Wii yet, so of course I was really surprised.
The showcased playable demo was already stunning so the final game must be triple AAA.

Not to hype everybody up, but the reviewer in Play magazine said that the graphics were so good that he could swear the game was on a different console -- if he hadn't played the entire game with the Wii remote. And that the Wii has untapped potential.
