50 Hours for me in the first week of release.

O.O

...Decided to give the online a try, I didn't get any connection problems, but then again I was by myself on the quests, lol. Anyways I'm still on the level 1 quests, tomorrow afternoon I'll see if I can add a few people and try to actually complete some of my quests with others. (since they're a pain to do by myself...)

Just remember, no Wii Speak...I have USB keyboard but its a pain to type and play the quest at the same time...

Well Wii Speak is only useful if you add other people with Wii Speak. I rarely ever do that plus I can't find a keyboard so I have to use the virtual one. At the moment I'm trying to defeat Queropeco offline and defeat Royal Ludroth online. I can never find a whole team of good people to go against Royal Ludroth.

@thelawyer You can get wired USB keyboards cheap. I really suggest you get one because the in-game keyboard is the equivalent of living in Korea armed only with an English-Korean dictionary.

@Stuffed The farms and boats are an extra way to earn money and items, that's all. You don't need to stress over them! Also my item box is over two pages in size now. >_< I'm selling some materials to get zeny though. Strange Beaks sell for over 1000z!

Took RL down last night, but more than happy to do so again, it's a long fight but 3-3 halfway competent players can easily take him down.

I hate to break it to you buddy but this is definitely for Wii, get over it and book yourself an eye test. Yes the text is small, but it's always legible. There must be something wrong with your eyes, or the settings on your telly.

@Mandoble Get 480p component cables, they will clear up text, colours and interlacing. No more blurriness! Also this game is definitely a console game, I can't imagine enjoying it nearly as much using a mouse and keyboard.

I've mixed up "H" and "K", but I wouldn't call it headache inducing. I've played it on a 40" plasma and a 32" CRT, both were fine. I think the PC is getting it's own version, MMO styley, so maybe that's the version for Mandoble.

I love my piggy. Every couple of quests I give him a hug and then watch him play in the mud. I'm sure there's more you can do with him, but I'm still only scratching the surface online and off.

@JayArr: Dude, I'm about 40hrs in after 5 days, so I imagine we'll be about the same. You seem to have done a lot more with those hours though, I've spent too many hours foraging and combining and strolling around aimlessly taking it all in and watching the monsters behaviour. _{edit: oh, and sleeping in the Tavern ;D}

I love ChaCha btw, he so funny. _{and mildly annoying}

ChaCha is cute and helpful. I`m trying to upgrade him so he can help me with urgent quests. He`s also good for distracting monsters haha. BTW, does anyone know where "isisium" is? I need to upgrade my lance to a spiral lance.

Quick question... is there a way to create Trap Tools? As opposed to buying them two at a time, and running back and forth between your house and the shop. D:

Chucko: you can find Isisium in Tundra (the snow map with Baggi´s) just mine there i think the best area for it is 4,5.

I just beat a Great Jaggi by kicking it to death. I'm that good.

Machu: I haven't even played online yet. Feel left out right now. I have to get some more time into the story mode. Just opened the guild thing yesterday and I have yet to combine and upgrade my weapon. ~Not to mention that I only have chest armor and a belt and it looks like I'm wearing those biking tights with it.

Online is great fun, great sense of camaraderie, even without mics/keyboards, etc.

Do the one star quests before stepping in though, you'll be better prepared able to upgrade your kit a bit.
