Dude, im not sure if CoD Black Ops Wii has Zombie content, srry if im wrong, but here is a quote from IGN review founded in metacritic: "The story is the best I've ever seen from a Call of Duty game. The multiplayer and single-player are solid on Wii, but the lack of zombie content is a real bummer. "

So dude, I don't got the game, I just write what ive readen.

Well you are wrong:

Even our own Dazran is in the video, he worked on some CoD MWR videos awhile back.

Agreed with you on that one romulux, very true.

I am still having this dilemma. My main selling point would be the online. I just want the most fun online experience, hassle free. I know BlackOps has tons of features, but is it fun? I haven't decided yet. But I will buy one of them, as long as I'm sure I'm getting proper online gaming - no waiting for players for hours, quick fun, great gameplay, lots of people to play with or against. What to do, what to do...

I am having the same dilemma to. I would get it mainly for the multiplayer aspect not the main game although that would be fun too. I an kinda inclined to getting the Wii version cause the Hardcore players usually stick with the 360 and PS3 versions and those people just bug the heck out of me. Always yelling insults at one another and cussing up a storm when things dont go there way. I can do without that thank you very much. As for the controller scheme once again I am inclined to go with the Wii if they have the different options like GoldenEye that way I can play with the Wiiremote and Nunchuk or the dual analog with the CC. With the Xbox you just get one choice. However I can be wrong about the Wii version I havent looked into the control scheme.

It will be interesting to see how well the motion controllers do on the PS3 and 360. If they implement those controls into some of their FPS games, and the public loves it, then I'd say motion controls would be here to stay. Really though, you can't compare people criticizing motion controls as gimmicky to a what if situation where people called analog controls gimmicky. I can't think of one person who, after playing Mario 64 for the first time, wasn't impressed with the analog controls and wished they would have had digital controls instead. Maybe this also means that developers just aren't implementing motion controls properly. Pointless waggle has got to go. It does nothing to add to the experience or immerse you into the game.

You can use it, but not during a match :/ Only in-between matches.

I wish you could use Wii Speak. But ya can't.
But for those of you who have Black Ops, how far have you gotten in solo? I need something to compare to.
I got to level 12 just today. I'm loving the new solo Revive perk.

I suppose what I'm looking for is something with an interesting single-player and an online mode which offers good, silly fun.

I'm wary of COD, given that it seems to be the choice of Serious Gamers, who can't seem to remember that games are supposed to be fun, if my experience of attempting to play on my mate's PS3 is anything to go by.

Yeah, I would have to agree with you there Badger. COD is the game of choice for alot of the Hardcore FPS fans, however most of those Hardcore fans play it on either the 360, PS3 or the PC. No way will any of the touch the Wii version. In truth I dont know how Hardcore the Wii COD players are but in almost every forum I have read all the Hardcore COD players put down the Wii version and instead play one of the other 3 versions I mentioned.

Now I do know that after playing several hours of GoldenEye multiplayer I have not noticed really any hard core players but than again it might be that way cause you cant use voice chat.

But yeah if you dont want to deal with the hardcore FPS crowd than stick with the Wii version.

Conduit 2

Because there's nothing like betting on the limping horse.

I see it as betting on the genitically-enhanced child of a limping horse that was mated with a winner of the Kentucky Derby.

Ya see, now that analogy doesn't really work, because High-Voltage has yet to "win" anything, except maybe the most undeserved attention award, The Conduit 2 is not a series with a winning pedigree, and personally, I've yet to see anything that says this one will be any different. It'll be a miracle if it actually manages to outperform Goldeneye and Black Ops, and I swear, if that happens I'll eat my shorts.

The analogy works, because Conduit 1 is represented by the limping horse parent, while Conduit 2 is represented by the child. A sequel to the Conduit has always had a lot of potential, because HVS nailed the controls, weapons, and technical side of the graphics in the first game. You must not have seen much on Conduit 2, because pretty much EVERYTHING out there about it has shown indication of significantly improvement on the flaws in the first game while adding plenty of new features. They even have permission to release mandatory patches to thwart online hackers.

while I think Black Ops is the superior FPS, I've decided to no longer throw my money at Bobby Kotick and the CoD series. by doing do, I'd just be lending my support to the notion that its perfectly acceptable to annually repackage something I just paid $65 for last year. Sure, new guns, new maps, a couple new kill streaks here and there, a new ridiculously short campaign, etc. But, in reality, if any other franchise stooped to this level of sameness people would be crying their eyes out, whining, and complaining.

I can't front. The games are fun. But they don't promote creativity in game design, they don't promote new ideas, they don't promote a diverse market. So, while I'll gladly pick up the controller at a friend's place and play CoD and have a ton of fun doing it, I will definitely not be lending my support to the vapid franchise that is CoD.

My suggestion? Buy Goldeneye.

Goldeneye has some unique and fun online games. Its not nearly as content heavy as black ops but still fun none the less. Some of these modes are only available on Goldeneye to so if is fun you want its there to be had! Also only 4 on 4. Some maps feel way to big for only 4 on 4 but others feel just right. Trust me though there are hardcore gamers on there but You would never know. One last thing. If you really want to lay with other nl people you need to get Goldeneye just look at the two online topics. One has over 20 names the other only 2 and one of those is the reviewer of black ops of which after his review wont have much time for online much any more!

Zombie mode is anything but serious. They Got Thunder guns for g-d sake. The online component is the competitive part, and some people take any games seriously. Even Goldeneye can be serious business, you know.

they really are fun. i play some more often than others, but not a single one of them is lame. golden gun actually feels like the original goldeneye, albeit way more intense.

@Mickeymac, I found it no use almost no strategy, why? Because you can't do anything by yourselve, your following everyone and getting orders, and some battles are soooooo boring, really boring. It may uses startegy some little minor parts, but not as much as I was expecting, I have never played a CoD game (expect Word at War for DS which was horrible), and everyone was exited about Black Ops, so I was expecting something better, I can see how developers focus wayy more in online multiplayer than in the campaign mode. Anyways it can also be that it is just not my time of game.
