So, i'm in the chapter called "Blood Contract" where you have to prevent the enemy for crossing the line. The problem is that i have only 4 of my team members alive. Is this even possible with such a small force? Any help would be highly appreciated.

That in the snow, that castle, with the laguz attacking and Ike's team at the end ? Only 4 people from start of the chapter or left over while fighting in this chapter?
left over ==> Restart chapter
4 from beginning of the chapter ==> Man, this is up... I need some time to think... I don't know if this is even possible...

yep, 4 from the beginning of chapter

Okay, as I said, I don't know if this is even possible... But please, tell me which characters you have and did any of them have a class change? Are you playing on easy/normal/hard?

Difficulty is normal. I have Micaiah, (Light Sage), Tauroneo (Marshall), Sothe (Rogue) and Nolan (Reaver), so i think everyone is at their max class. The main problem are the hawks, since they can just fly to target area. I'm currently just trying to keep my ballista shooters alive.

Wow, how could you just let all those others die? Poor Edward and Leonardo I always reach for the reset button whenever someone dies.
I have no idea if it's possible to do it with such a small force. Perhaps your best chance is to rush towards Ike and try to take him down to end the level.

Cia

I did it! I just needed to position Nolan and Tauroneo so that they basically handeled the whole thing, and memorise the hawks flying pattern so that i could take them down with those two.

Absolutely fantastic game by the way

@Faron: Great to hear you got through it . And one hint for the upcoming chapters: you aren't going to fight with this 4-person army anymore, so you don't have to worry about that. However, when the time comes (begin of part 4), be sure to "make it all equal" (You'll know what I mean once you start part 4). In that way, a horror such as this chapter with 4 characters won't happen anymore.

I agree about letting soldiers die. War has casualties

I'm once again stuck, now in the final boss. I have 9 members alive, and no fortify or physic staff. Two healers with heals and mends. Any tips?

Do you have an older save file from right before you went into the tower? It really helps to have some good healing staffs, and forging some awesome weapons to be blessed is useful too.
If not, do you have any herons left alive? They could help with the healing by having others stand next to them. It's also best to keep your weak units far away from the boss, because she deals less damage the farther away you are. You can also ditch all your non-blessed weapons and load up on elixers and concoctions.
Do you have some dragons? You could try to use their ally-enhancing abilities as best as you can.

Cia

Do you know if there's any way to defend against her single attack? It kills my team members with single blow.

Start the game over and stop letting your characters die. Save before a big fight

Ouch, if she kills you with a single blow, you have some serious problems. Do you have any bonus experience or upgrade items (like speedwings) left to make your characters stronger?

When I do that fight I usually have all my characters at level 20 with half or more of their stats maxed out and I have no problems taking her down without losing anyone.

No way, it has took me 45 hours to get to this point, and i've been in very bad situations before because letting my characters die (look at my first post). It must be possible somehow. I wonder if Ashera does her different attacks always in certain order...?

Cia

I think her attacks are mostly random, so you might get lucky if you just keep trying.
No shame in starting over though. I've played through it 5 times so far, and I once had to start over when I was playing on hard because my Micaiah team wasn't focused enough.

bro2dragons

i really, REALLY would recommend playing through the game without letting anyone die.... it's the only real reliable way to beat the thing. otherwise you'll get in a LOT of sticky situations like this you just won't get out of.

Now that you are at the Final Boss, could you tell us what characters you are using, and what levels they are ?

@vonseux
I respectfully disagree, part of the challenge of Fire Emblem is getting through the entire game without letting anyone die.
Considering how hard it is to keep the weaklings alive in the first part of the game, it would be much easier to just let them die, and never have to worry about them again.

Not leting anyone die = kills replayability

I also disagree. I always try to keep everyone alive and I replay Fire Emblem games a lot. You can still go for a completely different team even if you keep everyone alive. It's actually fun to challenge yourself into making weird teams like an all-magic team, or using only girls.
