Sort of, I guess. I love how the Koopalings talk in this game! Ok, it's really more grunting, but still, it allows the player to get a basic idea of what they sound like. Each of the Koopalings sounds exactly like what you'd think (or how I'd think, anyway). I love Ludwig's voice. Of course, he's always been my favorite Koopaling. He's ugly, but he's a threat.

Well, I decided to get stupid since Muramasa seems to have been delayed until next week, and I did the pre-order since I can pick it up in the shop (sadly the tin is postal order only). That way I get the £10 online discount and with my £5 from points means I can pay a more reasonable £29.99 and help Reggie's predictions come true.
Between this and two games next week (assuming Muramasa does show up at GAME for me), my wife will probably want to clobber me, but I just had to do it.
Question: Is it possible to rescue all the toads, or will they just keep appearing forever? I'm pretty sure that I had to rescue a toad from the same level 2 or 3 times even after I saved the game. Is this normal?
Edit: I just finished everything in the game and have 5 stars on my file. It does seem like the toads will keep randomly appearing forever.

They must keep reappearing cause I noticed the same thing. No big deal to me, cause it's great whenever you rescure him and you get to go into the toad house for prizes afterwards.
Has anyone cleared the board where you have to match the items for prizes in Toads house? I've come close, but never been able to completly clear it all.
@GElephant: Yeah I have managed to once dude, just lucky I guess.
I am not going onto the next world until I find all the golden coins, so at the moment I am on World 2, with three coins remaining...
One thing I did notice is how much harder multiplayer is. Maybe it's cos I am playing with some less experienced people, or maybe it's because you have other obstacles running around (other players) but yeah I definately find it harder... It's so much fun when you watch someone else die. I love using people as trampolines when they ain't ready for it!

I finished most of the game (Worlds 1-8) and found all of the secret coins in every level. The game was definitely hard at times, but it really wasn't all that difficult. I was only given the opportunity to use the Super Guide once (which I did not do, of course). Getting all of the coins definitely makes it a little bit tougher, but I just didn't think it was as hard as everyone (including reviewers) made it out to be. The Secret World, on the other hand, seems to be very difficult. I tried the first level last night a couple of times and it was pretty tough. It's a great game, but for places like IGN to call it the best 2D Mario game is practically blasphemy. Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World are both much better games. However, it does feel really great to play a new, 2D Mario game on a TV screen instead of a handheld for a change.

I'm surprised to hear that. I only unlocked two World 9 levels so far, and I found them unusually easy for unlockables that are so time-consuming to attain. Getting the star coins in each is a bit more difficult, but I have trouble with the star coins in a lot of the levels, so I don't know that that's saying much, either.
Yeah...I actually beat 9-1 through 9-5 this morning—getting the three star coins on each level—and it wasn't too bad. I think what makes them a little bit harder is the fact that they don't have any checkpoints. That and the star coins are a little more difficult to get as well, like you mentioned. However, all of the star coins in World 9, for the most part, seem to be easy to find, but hard to get, where as in the main portion of the game, I felt like most of the star coins were fairly easy to get, just sometimes hard to find in some hidden area.
Also...does anyone know if there is a way to tell if a level has more than one exit? In Super Mario World, the level would be read instead of yellow on the map screen to indicate that there was more than one exit in the level. I can't seem to pick up on any kind of indication in this game (other than if there is a cannon nearby, or a path that doesn't open up after you beat a level that appears to have branching paths).

Pooch, I don't think there are color indicators a la SMW, but the canons and other environmental clues make it pretty obvious if you are looking for it, I think.
Stuck on that level in World 5 where you control the spotlight on the little boat. Can we discuss the awesomeness of the first level in World 5 that has the screen completely FILLED with Bullet Bills?

Halfway through world 4 now (which is amazing, I never play a game this much in such a short period of time... it took me 2 months to finish the first chapter of Final Fantasy IV The After Years, and I'm a FF loony).
Amazing, but I'm still finding it challenging. I'm not a platform genius by any means, though.
Might wanna do a spoiler warnin' 'bout that last part Cross. But, uh...I have to say. This game made an impact on me. I was playin' LBP with a friend online and I shook the PS3 controller to get more air time. Lol.

Bought my copy today UK gamers, GameStation is the best place to get it, it's only £34.99 there (I believe the RRP is £44.99). And that pre-order tin is just a fiver extra, even if you didn't pre-order. Or the strategy guide for a tenner, but I think I'm hard enough to not have to use it. I'll come back crying later Cutting this message short 'cos I gotta go kill some Koopa Troopas~
