I may get this today. I'm glad you guys are seeing the hidden depth that they said was in here.
Can you do 2 players against the computer. Fiance doesn't like us to compete against each other. (of course if I have more than 2 she might, i think, hopefully)
@KS8: if you played it for an hour then you should had fun with it , dont you? it certainly looks good, i would buy it but i have no friends with wii remotes to play with.

@vakama94: Yeah, I'm having fun with it. You need to complete the 10 missions in the campaign and THEN you'll start to enjoy it more.
@longtimegamer: Yep! The campaign has a great co-op feature and it's great for you BOTH to get acquainted with the game. Versus can toggle between teams as well.

Oops, sorry! For some odd reason, I confused you for Bones. My apologies .
Anyways, regarding single player I too was concerned about it since a big deal has been made about the multiplayer. But it turns out the single player is actually quite fun and addicting.
See, have you guys played the game ColorZ? That game was one designed around three players surviving the stage. Because of this, the single player mode wasn't designed to accommodate one player, so you had to control three individual characters, and it made the game much harder.
Gravitronix isn't this way. While the game becomes easier when a second player joins the game is playable and doable in single player mode. In fact, I think you might feel more satisfied if you complete a hard challenge by yourself, using only skill. The game can get hard, but it can be played and completed. In other words, its hard because the game does offer a challenge, not because it is broken, like ColorZ.,
Yeah, ColorZ is a game that frustrated me to no end. What annoyed me the most is that the concept WAS intriguing and novel, but had terrible execution. Why couldn't they have let the player play as just one character? The game doesn't give you flexibility, so you have to tolerate its broken design.
At the very least, Gravitronix gives you enough flexibility to alter the game as you see fit.
Oh and speaking of AI, it can also be altered in the options menu, so if you think they are too slow and mediocre you can change them so they react faster and are smarter.
That's not all you can adjust. There's a ridiculous amount of customization in this game - more than meets the eye. You'd be surprised with all the options you can adjust!
Sorry for replying so much, but I just realized... Gravitronix reminds me of Mario Strikers Charged for Wii (which is a fantastic game). They both share the idea of charging for more effective strategies. But most importantly, both can be pretty intense games. You can spend up to an hour trying to score a hit, because the enemy is relentless. But once you score the winning hit its an amazing feeling.

Strikers could make you scream curses that would make a trucker's ears bleed when you lost. You were just THAT into it. Comparing it to Grav is a pretty high compliment in my book.
I'm anxious to try it out. Phil and I were talking about it earlier.
There's a definite learning curve to it, but once you get used to it, it grows on you.
Excite Truck had a similar curve, but I feel that one was more like 30 minutes to an hour to really get into it (and you had to finish the tutorial) but once you did, you were in love with the game.
The average time for Grav adjustment seems to be 15-30 minutes, and probably making it through the first ten tutorial levels since their goal is to ease you into the game.
Also, I just added your code so I should be able to gift you the game shortly. Just leave your Wii on with WC24 running and it'll hopefully connect us.
