Does anyone know if the Inkstrike is affected by the Special Duration Up ability?

From the Prima guide: "This ability increases the duration of special weapons—the effects of Bubbler, Inkzooka, Kraken, Bomb Rush, and Echolocator all last longer. For Inkstrike and Killer Wail you’re only given more time to aim the weapon, but the effect itself does not last longer. When Bubbler is extended to teammates, they also benefit from the increased duration, even if they don’t have the Special Duration Up ability."

I believe it allows you to make a longer decision yes but doesn't last longer as in stays in the field another second or 2.

An interesting thing to remember for any solo game mode is since there are X randoms on the enemy team and X - 1 randoms on your team because of you, there is a higher chance of better randoms being on the enemy team. ∴ You must play better than the current level of play to consistently rise.

Wasn't to confident going in to my play session since it was Splat Zones the entire time but I was pleasantly surprised how well I did. I was number one on my team no less then 80% of the time and the one time I finished last still went 4-3 with the win as it ended quite fast. Havrnt played Splat Zones in forever either. Glad I did.

@Spoony_Tech: I tired a whole bunch of other weapons the other day during Splat Zone mode, no luck. Not even aerospray. I hate the warehouse. Kelp dome was ok but splat zone is just so boring compared to the other 2. I do like having to think about it in Port Mackerel, and moving it back on the rig helped.

I think it was more of the stages I was on then anything. The Rig and Depot I believe it's called. Can't remember the name of that stage for what ever reason. All in all it was my most successful play session in a long time. I really do think I've learned a lot playing with you guys and all those S ranks. My play style has changed a bit and it's showing up in the stats. I rarely go negative kdr anymore.

Had one match today when I first started out and started 0-6. Then we took the zone and I went into damage control and went 9-0 the rest of the way to finish first in my team. Then the next match went 8-0. By my math that was 17 straight kills without a death. Of course very next game killed before I could continue that streak. I'm just glad that for once match making made sense. Like I said only one B+ all day and the rest were mostly B and some B-'s.

Today I decide to practice with the dynamo roller. It was akward at first but once I got the hang of it I was Splatting people like crazy. At one point i was triple teamed It was so funny. Gonna try using later today in Rank.

Has anyone ever had their connection time out during overtime?! It's probably the most intense part of ranked battle! It was overtime and I had the rainmaker, and I was about 20ft from the goal! Then I saw the enemy come, and I didn't know what was going to happen! Argh, so much adrenaline wasted.

I've been getting disconnects lately that send me all the way back to the city. I've also seen connection is unstable and put my controller down in disgust only to see i'm still in the game. Thats happened twice now.

I was playing Rainmaker on Moray Tower, it was overtime I had the Rainmaker and...... I fell. I feel ashamed.

@BurningSonic I did that when we were one point away from winning...

@rjejr Hey I just noticed on the Splatoon website the jacket and shoes you were wearing. You might want to double check how much damage that set up does as I've been told there is a limit on how much certain weapons can put out. You may be in need of just one attached strength up with one weaker one. I like my Ninja jump shoes as often I surprise many a people.
