Duo is better than I expected. It's like solo but always with some one you know that will play at least decent.

@MasterWario: Thanks for joining me. I think we won all but 2 that go around. Much better as there where far fewer high ranks. You were often one of the highest.

@Spoony_Tech: Nice playing with ya that went really well. Yeah I was surprised at all the C's but the ones we got actually played well too.

I'd really like to try a private match some time but getting 8 people seems difficult. I'll probably be on later but who knows.

Also, I noticed that one of my the victories against a team of similar skill netted me 13 points. We won that one really fast so I think in the new matchmaking the speed at which you win/lose effects the points you gain/lose as well.

Anyone here up for a bit of squad action now?

So, here in the UK we are having issues connecting. Had two matches to completion in the past 48 hours. Others are Unable to connect to partner's device errors. This has only been an issue since the update. Anyone else getting this?

I'm in the UK and had a few disconnects on the first day of the update, but it's been mostly fine since. I played some just an hour ago and it was completely fine for me. I hope your problem sorts itself out before much longer.

@crimsontadpoles: My mother gave up. Minus one Splatoon player it seems, and I'm playing games less and less anyway.

Maybe I've gotten better, but while I used to have trouble in B+, it now feels fairly easy overall. But once I get into A- it gets difficult to level up again.

Keep at it. In the same day I went from A- to A back to A- three maybe four times.

I know I'm better then a B- player yet I can't seem to get out of it lately. I nearly fell to C+ yesterday and was 6 points from it before my team up with @MasterWario. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I must be getting some bad teammates online.

I've got the same problem. I know I'm not the best player, but I find it quite difficult to get out of the B rank. Often when my team loses, I'm the number one or two player in my team though, so I know it's not entirely my fault.

Ranking is basically a crap shoot... i've gone from a healthy B+ 80 to an anemic C 20 in only two days. And then back up to B in two sessions.

@SplatoonMidnight: I'm up for it,I'll fire it on now.Big game for my team Celtic in an hour and a half and I'm feeling nervous,some squad battles should help take my mind off it and save me from biting my nails.

Had a great session this morning/afternoon. Match making took longer then usual but i didn't see higher then a B+ and that was only once. Started the day at B- 69 and ended B+ 30. That took over 2 hours though as it took 3 shots to get to B+ 30.
