I don't think we've talked about the new music, but I really like it. It's also a nice detail how they made up a band to go along with it. It's very charming and creative.
@Megumi: Well, it depends on what you want to do in Smash, but if you go play some matches (especially online matches) after losing a lot in Splatoon, and then lose... well, rage. But that might just be me.
I rarely go online in Smash...or any game that's not online focused, lol. So yeah, I'm good, because Smash CPUs can't handle the way I play my matches there. >:3

I decided not to buy it because I figure Mario Maker is coming out soon so I probably won't play it much. I already own a few games that I never play (Wind Waker, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze) and I'm going to sell The Witcher 3 so I figure I shouldn't buy a game that's just going to collect dust. I'm sure it's a great game but I'm too lazy to try and learn how to play a new game. I mostly only play Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8 and Tomodachi Life on the 3DS.
@Rexcalibr: If you ever do have the chance to buy it I implore you to buy it. The learning curve is very small seeing as the single player is one of the most clever tutorials I've ever played (while also being fun in itself) and the game is designed to keep you coming back. Even if you get bored the next weapon or map gets you straight back in. That's just my two cents.
The fact you are reading this proves you are able to have an attention span longer than me. Well done sir or madam!

If you won't buy it, then perhaps you'll buy it for...
Squid Girl!!!
Do it, for her and her powerful umbrella!!! (...that just broke)
...By the way that should be the next weapon type, an umbrella. lol

I like the "Hooked" track the best. But I really like how the new tracks added in piano and 8-bit (or 16-bit or whatever). It mixes things up a lot. If only we could get some more tracks for splatfest!
Speaking of tutorials, I let people try the game out when they come over and I wish I could let them do the tutorial first because it's so well done. Does anyone know how/if I can go back to the tutorial?

I can't remember the name of the track but I know my new favorite is track #30. It reminds me of the music from Sega's DS game "Feel the Magic" with K.K Slider (Animal Crossing) singing.
A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

@MasterWario: Other than deleting your save file I don't think so.Let them play recon so they can get a feel for the game and the map along with some tips from you

With all the map changes going around in Splatoon I was wondering, so far what are your overall favorite maps and overall least favorite maps? For me I really don't have a preference, and find them all to be unique.
#1 Arowana Mall: This has always been my consistently favorite stage. I rarely have a bad game on this stage and it's just really enjoyable for me. I know how to play well on this stage. At least it's the one I know the best. The additional platforms in splat zones make it even better. #2 Moray Towers: This stage can actually get really annoying, but in a good game with Squid Beckons it's by far my favorite stage ever. I've had some of the most absurd, hilarious backdoors ever. The additional platforms in splat zones are quite fun as well. #3 Saltspray Rig: The first stage I really felt I knew what I was doing. There are times where I do poorly, and I'm only a huge fan of splat zones on this stage, which is why it loses out to the first two. But I sure do enjoy destroying the competition on that map, whenever it does happen. #4 Walleye Warehouse: Just an all around good stage; I have very few complaints about it.
The rest are a muddled mess, but I will say that Urchin Underpass may end up being higher on the list but I haven't played it enough, and Kelp Done is one massive pain in splat zones because of how derpy the center is. I want to like that stage but it gets too ridiculous at times. It's usually fun in the less serious turf wars though.
So I guess that means Kelp Dome is my least favorite, but for being my least favorite I still like it.

@Aromaiden Walleye Warehouse is one I seem to do well in.
Not feeling so fresh this Splatfest. Not sure which is worse: The connection drops every other match or having to ditch my beloved Aerospray today because it lacks the range to survive a fire fight against everyone using a bucket today.
