No more trees in Urchin Underpass. XD

It's kind of hard to see with the striped tape, but it looks like it gives us a sneak peek at the redesign. From the looks of it, I think the picture is near the centre and they put two trees in the middle this time.

It does look like they are putting something there by the designap and trees would be a good guess.

I wish port mackerel would get changes. Matches on that map generally get 1 sided quickly.

^Ha, ya think? I want Walleye Warehouse REMOVED for the same exact reason...
OK, maybe not removed, but it needs changes... Tower Control in that map can get quite ridiculous...

@yokokazuo: The way I'm looking at that picture, this is definitely a different Urchin Underpass center. See that pathway at the top of the picture? Aren't those the side alleys that lead to an area near the enemy's base (or yours, if you will) of the stage?
I could be totally wrong, though. I can't wait for the 6th!

So nobody mentioned Amys Miiverse post saying the US Splatoon update is August 5, not the 6th, or did I miss it?

Made it uo to rank B. Decided Im a decent player b/c only 1 of my 6 losses was by KO but 4 of 8 wins were by KO, so I figure I must be contributing or else more losses would be by KO and more wins by score. Ive been playing about 14 matches a night, wnning just over half.

So, if the game was going to start keeping stats, Id really like my record for each stage. I win 90% on Camp Triggerfish but only 20% on Bluefin Depot and Skatepark. I usually win in turf war but honestly gave up caring, now I just use it to level up gear, going into ranked with empty slots seems suicidal.

@rjejr: Most likely because it will be the 5th for us but the rest of the world is the 6th. We are on a European website after all.

I'd actually prefer this was 3 or 4 in the morning so I would just sleep thru it and play when I play, if it's at 7 or 10 I'll be waiting to play the download, install, load, reload game. If its at noon like the store updates - which would have made sense on the 6th which is Thursday - we'll check on it in the afternoon, my kids are in Kudo coding class at the MS store.

Well, finally got to play Tower Control...and it sucks...keep getting people who don't know how to play...and I lose easily. T.T

I guess I'm just unlucky... :c
I'll just wait until the update so I can just play with you guys instead. Also, still waiting for the Squid Girl stuff over here Nintendo.

This update makes it abundantly clear. I need some friends with a Wii U so that I can have a decent team. Playing ranked battles is mostly futile with the level of play some people.

I got plenty of friends who play Splatoon so it's going to be nice when I can play Ranked with them, though I'm always up for playing with others if you need an Inkling.

You know, it's a bit late in the Wii U's life cycle, but the new Splatoon features and comments about needing friends with Wii Us kinda reminds me of when Halo came out on Xbox. Think this could become an Xbox situation instead of a weak GameCube one?

Yes! That always seemed so unnecessary and was rather annoying, considering it's my favorite way to enter the battlefield.

You know what we need...a zombie like mode, now hear mii out, what if Algae started infecting inklings and octolings alike, you found a way to at least stop the hordes of the crazed infected which is sea snails (they eat algae), however they can be harmed by physical attacks, so a bunch found out sea snail slime could actually stop the algae infected as well, so you got plenty of slime and put it into a range of different weapons to fight off the horde, however slime can't be picked up like ink, you must get fresh slime some how. As you keep going in higher waves you must get better weapons, weapons can be upgraded and such to shoot faster, do more damage, hold more ink, there would also be player perks as well which can be bought by orbs.

Algae men can attack physically, but the could also release algae onto the ground which harms you if you step on it, there are different types. As for maps they can simply reuse the multiplayer maps, also maybe you can't do a super jump, however the team bases can at like teleporters...oh my it personally sounds like fun...but it will never happen...

@VeeFlamesNL: @rjejr: I hate Walleye Warehouse on Tower Control, if all your team dies at the same time then the other team pretty much automatically wins.

@Barely_Able: I hope they added voice chat to talk with your squad... It doesn't make sense not to!
