Anyone else finding the lack of Japanese players in Ranked Mode all of a sudden? Is there a Splatfest going on over there because I can't seem to find even one.
Yes, their 3rd Splatfest, with a battle over 2 different brands of tea (Lemon vs. Milk Tea). The Milk Tea apparently look like this:

There are apparently a lot more Milk Tea votes than Lemon, I chose lemon myself. Was kind of surprised when I saw that Inklings for milk tea had white hair haha. Didn't really expect the colour to look like that.

Yes, it is, but it's a sub weapon, I was thinking main weapon charger/sniper type weapon that explodes like the Luna blaster. Inkzooka is horrible in on any uneven ground, more often it shoots over stuff. And it leaves a trail, RPG shot would look more like inkstrike when done.

I used to be quite good at Splatoon, but recently I've been doing quite badly at it and I'm not sure why. It feels like everyone has suddenly started becoming awesome at this game
There's a new upcoming testfire, only for Japan. And apparently, the first download page accidentally (?) had voice-chat listed for a short moment until Nintendo quickly removed that reference.
Maybe they're planning in adding in a voice chat feature (I said hopefully). That would be a pretty good idea.
They're clearly not adding any voice chat to the current modes where it wouldn't make sense anyway, but perhaps for the upcoming party matchmaking feature.

Yeah perhaps. I think it would be a great idea if they did that.
