I just realized that Splatoon 2 has to be a launch title for NX.
Perhaps. But the NX could have backwards compatibility for Wii U games and Nintendo doesn't really like to do straight sequels that don't add new gameplay elements. But who knows, we'll have to wait & see

@Mk_II: Yeah that's true, they could also just let people continue playing Splatoon and maybe add a (free?) content pack for NX users later. Or make an NX remake. But a new game would be better. ^^
Anyway, my point was just from the viewpoint of a Splatoon addict fan, so that Nintendo doesn't upset their addicts fanbase.
My GOTY? Legend Of Zelda: Splat of the child. Ah no, I meant LoZ: Breath of the SPLATOOOON!
@shani: Hey, I'm with you and said it here a few weeks back that I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo is trying to make this a NX launch title. It's obviously a system seller. My only concern would be the controls would have to be the same for me to get the same enjoyment out of it.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
@Spoony_Tech: Yeah the controls should (basically) stay the same, I can't see it being successful without it. And I think it would be a very smart move to have Splatoon, MK and Smash as launch titles. They're relatively "easy" to produce (since those series can just build up on their predecessors), have a relatively large fanbase that's always eager to follow to the next installment and that trinity of Nintendo-multiplayer-competition-games (also the most likely to enter pro gaming, which Nintendo could leverage with an integrated streaming feature) are definitely system sellers.
The next Zelda after LoZ U can instead take a really long time, because those games need more work to become the epic adventures they are.
And I wonder how long it will take until we se a new (real open) 3D Mario and F-Zero. But they could also just mix F-Zero and MK into one game with completely different modes, maybe such a crossover could also have a "fresh" influence on the MK formula
And of course, there should/will be several titles in between we know nothing about yet. ^^
I wonder if NoA will use the next Splatfest's results to change their approach to VC. So something like if Past wins the popularity vote then NoA's VC approach ends up like NoE and if Future wins then NoA's VC approach is less than last year.
@TingLz: Yeah I had that too, once. I guess it's probably because one of the players disconnected or had an unstable connection and something went wrong with the game not detecting that properly.

Alright! It has taken me many hours, but I have finally reached my verdict!
The decision was very difficult: both Past and Future were very exciting prospects, both with inherent downsides, such as living in a time period where my loved ones don't exist yet or anymore. Although Future seems the most intriguing prospect, it is also the most risky. Along the way, I will almost certainly learn countless things I didn't not want to know in a very short amount of time, I run the risk of running right into the end of humanity earlier than I expect, and I may find myself in a society too incomprehensible for me to function as a member of society. By travelling into the past, any history book my guide, and I can steer clear of any trouble. But after a lot of consideration, I realize that in the spirit of Splatfest, I should go with the choice that gets me the most excited by bare instinct. If I had to jump into a time machine and pick one in an emergency, with only 2 seconds to think, I'd probably head right to the future!
Basically, long story short, I was thinking about it too much ^.^
Does anyone have an opinion on which is the best Roller weapon in the game? I have been using the Kraken Roller since I've had the game months ago. I tested a few of them out and some are really fast, while others are really slow. The Kraken Roller seems to be the most balanced out of all of them.
@Kinan: She wasn't really a hacker since she didn't do any hacking at all. Just changed a digit in a file from her save game (to change female Inkling into Octoling), I think. That's not hacking.
