If you mushroom boost juuuuussssstttttt when the Blue Shell dives to hit you, you'll dodge it!

you need to master drifting, and it might be easier at first with small characters like Babies, some of the mid weights like some Koopalings and Cat Peach. To boost in the air, simply press the drift button as you hit ramp or anything that lits you upl Items are mostly luck so use them wisely.

Well that was surprising, not that I used the website a lot, but still a shame that it is closing so soon.

So inside one week we will lose Google Street U and Mario Kart TV website, but we will gain Nintendo Account and My Nintendo.

NIntendolife should make a news article about that if they haven't yet.

I hope tbe servers for Mk8, Splatoon, Smash. and others dont get shutdown like in 2017.

Just got reminded the other day as to why Mario Kart is just so good.

I was at the finish line, like literally, and was in first, then all of a sudden a blue shell hits me, THEN a red shell whacks me and THEN someone turns on the lighting. I went from being guaranteed first place to 6th place in a single moment. Frustrating, yeah, but this is what makes me love this game so much, all the "only in Mario Kart" moments.

^Yeah, I definitely know that love/hate Mario Kart feeling. That same thing, besides the red shell, happened to me awhile back. Couldn't have been timed better! XD

These types of races are why I love the Highlight Reel feature so much. I find it really fun to look back and see what happened from different perspectives. It's a shame that you can only save up to 6 races though...

@Blue_Blur There's nothing quite like this game is there. Brings out the kid inside me and no game ever does that.

@TheXReturns If true it also gives some credibility to the rumour about the OoT and SS maps for Hyrule Warriors Wii U. However you look at it, 2014 was easily Nintendo's strongest Wii U year.

Anyway, I'm fairly sure they're teasing something. I would say they're teasing a VC rerelease of MK64, but I've just realised they've already done that. I can't really see anything other than new DLC packs.

I agree. Hopefully it is more courses! I know the tweet showed MK64, but if it is another new DLC pack, I'm hoping for some more courses from Double Dash!! as well. I'd love to see DK Mountain, Wario Colosseum, and Mushroom City again!
