I'm enjoying all of you guys MK8 vids! Kinda motivates me to make some of my own.

How do I get in on these races?

@Gremstein: I'm usually the host of the races, so I'll @ you next time we're racing. I always mention everyone whose interested in playing on the The Multiplayer Match Organisation Thread, that's where we talk about dates and times for the races. There is no set next race time, so it might be a while until we play again. I'll let you know when we do, though!
Same goes for @nintendop_rn.

You guys should also send me friend requests. If you don't you won't be able to enter the room, which would be a problem. XD My nnid is in my signature. Make sure to tell me who you are from Nintendolife, so I know who is who. Thanks!

Got da game yesterday along with all da DLC, is SWELL!!!

mk8 should of had own battle maps. also koopalings are better than bowser jr. smb3 was my favourite video game when i bought in on wii shop channel. larry and ludwig are annoying in this game; they say mean, annoying gibberish..

This game is freaking awesome. Gorgeous stages, fast-paced action, amazing soundtrack. Best Mario Kart yet in my opinion.

Mario Kart 8 is gorgeous. I love the design of the courses. I love just looking at all the sights and visuals when I'm playing. Toad Harbor is probably my favorite track to race on with friends. Other than the roster, I love it. And HD Sherbet Land is the greatest thing in the world to me.

Just to inform you all that myself, @Blue_Blur, Blue_Blur's brother, @Crimsontadpoles and @OorWullie are playing some MK8 at 4pm GMT today, and we'd love some more players. Anyone interested in racing tomorrow (17th) around let's say 5 PM GTM/12 PM Eastern?

I finally played Mario Kart DP DX at Dave and Busters.

It doesn't play much like Mario Kart 8 at all. MK8 I think is much better and has more techniques to it, a much better roster, and the tracks aren't as short.

Girlfriend and I played the 32 track marathon this past weekend. Took about 1 1/2 hours.

2 questions..
what button is for drift using the game pad? are their 2 drift buttons?
and how do i get a boost in the air? cause ive done it before..thanks!

trying to master the controls so i dont make anymore excuses when i lose lol

Up front: There is a e-manual in the game for control questions.

There are two drift buttons but it doesn't matter which one you use. For stunts in the air you have to use the same button at the right moment. Try to master it!
