@NEStalgia I agree, they are not old games if you haven't played them or if they are free remasters the day you play them again. Even if they are not remastered, is Sekiro the same game on Series X/S than on Xbox One X, I mean, can you say that the gaming experience is the same after watching the videos? And who has played all the games that they wanted to play this generation? Why is the first next-gen game worth playing (and worth buying a new console at launch for!) but not the best games of the current generation as remasters or at 60fps compared to 20fps? Octane's comparison with Mario is illogical, what Mario game runs badly on the original hardware? Is it better a short PS4 spin-off semi-sequel (and now also cross-gen!) remastered for PS5 that you can play at launch or is it better to keep the original ambitious scope of the game even if it means delaying Halo Infinite? What is the best value attached to a new console, a PS4 paid remaster like Spider-Man 2018-2020 or a free remaster like Gears 5 2019-2020? What is better for older games, a rough "PS5 boost mode" or next-gen enhancements like Auto HDR, double frame rate, resolution upgrade and improved texture filtering?

It seemed that Octane basically got & played all the games he wanted on launch, so there'd be very few he'd want to go back to play, @BlueOcean .... Personally, I still do replay some older games & sometimes find ones I missed out on, so I appreciate options for playing those

@BlueOcean that's very unfair. He clearly enjoys Sony walking simulators. I'm sure he likes Wii Sports and Ring Fit Adventure. And I hear he was an avid Nintendogs player back in the day. Maybe he even owns every FIFA ever made. Casuals are _{kind of} gamers too!

I don't play as many games either. Aside from Nintendo and Indie games, I don't head over to Xbox or other consoles as much.

I don't know about the One X, but at the very least Sekiro will definitely have a better framerate on SeriesS/X than the Xbox One. That had terrible slowdown issues and routinely dropped to like 15fps in the main castle area.

What are the odds of Microsoft ever going back to Scalebound this generation? I would honestly buy a XBox for that game.

@-Green- Platinum admitted that they were not able to develop the game and that was not Microsoft's fault. Rumour has it that they were using Microsoft's money for other projects.

Platinum Games is the same company that started crowdfunding for The Wonderful 101 Switch port after the port was already developed and then they said that they needed the money for advertising.
