Seeing the last part of the Wii's lifespan, it's hard to be a Nintendo fan and still not be skeptical of Nintendo's future (and at least a little bit agree with the angry EA exec). I don't personally care about graphics superiority but if that causes third-parties to abandon Nintendo, that's going to put them in serious pain.

I'll definitely watch, but Xbox would be a tough sell on me. Games won't do it for me, but I'll be interested in it's features.

we have enough generic, brainless, doom and gloom threads, we don't need the discussion elsewhere. At least keep it quarantined.

I'm not gonna watch it since the 360 destroyed any chance of Microsoft ever making an actually good console, for me. This thing has to be absolutely amazing for me to even care about it.

Hope it turns out good. Sony and Nintendo could use the competition.

I'll try and catch it if I can. Even if I'm not particularly interested in the Xbox brand, I get terribly excited about these kinds of things!

I'll watch it and try to care but...I just have so little expectations. I mean it's hard enough to care since I'm certain I can't afford another new console anytime soon, but Xbox has everything going against it right now.

I care. Nintendo has dropped the ball, and now I want to see what Microsoft can offer, so of course I'm going to watch it.

What happened to Xbox? I remember picking up my pre-ordered Arkham City for PS3, and honest to God everyone else was walking out with the 360 version. Now it's getting dissed left and right.

Should be interesting. Hopefully I'll be able to catch this one live instead of having my co-workers spoil everything for me.

As I've had no interest in any of the Xbox consoles and don't expect my opinion to change anytime soon, my end-of-the-day opinion will most likely be a solidified "Meh". However, it will be interesting to see how many of the horrific rumors posted from the last year are actually true.

Most gamers don't like th diection microsoft went even through it got them to #2 place and currently has them on top month to month sales.

I'm one of the kids that got an Xbox 360 when the slim version came out which was way better. By then, 2 Gears titles, Banjo, Halo Reach, Alan Wake, Banjo Arcade, Geometry Wars, etc. games were out.
I really liked Xbox 360. I wasn't very happy with it at first, but I eventually came to like it. PS3 was the complete opposite. I liked it at first, then started to hate it.
As for Nintendo, it's Nintendo, and I get their stuff no matter what most of the time. I already have enough money for this new Xbox, so I don't really give a crap. I'm getting it. I'm already pretty convinced it will be good based off of the fun I had with 360.

I can't wait for it and will most likely be buying one on launch day.

Just a quick shout out here for PureXbox.com. YOu can watch the live stream there with the same setups that NL uses for Nintendo Directs.

Also, I believe you'll be able to stream it through your Xbox 360, through the Microsoft Event Player as well.
