Nah. Not all the trailers have been great, but the game seems very solid for an open world game.

I felt a bit overwhelmed by the scale. Is it possible for a game to be too big

Can't watch anymore, don't want it spoiled before I even play it.

I think it looks great, the only jarring thing is the contrast between the anime characters and the somewhat more realistic monsters and backgrounds.
Other than that, I feel the trailer was badly paced, but I don't have problems with the VA. The accents don't sound weird for one.

So Im sharing this gem because Ive heard this tune over and over again, but it never ceases to amaze me that someone who leads a site in this very network on a Japanese console has this attitude and just runs around with it insulting people and what they enjoy. He does it to FF too, and openly admits he enjoys it.

So what if it looks like that? Itll be a good game and people can enjoy what they want but no, the usual dismissive of anything Japanese from this prat who doesnt accept other peoples opinions.

@Tsurii I dont think he is aware that Sony is Japanese...

Anyway I did just lay into him, saying sure, you can not like something, but you dont need to be an abrasive sod about it. And I also reminded him he personally and publicly admitted he enjoys annoying FF fans, a brand that is huge for Sony.

And as part of the Gamer Network alongside NL and Eurogamer, there is a much higher standard.

@BLP_Software I can't say anything: as soon as I see a Western-developed game with the usual gruff looking white male protagonist, I get similarly dismissive. We all have our prejudices.

Also, the Playstation brand is practically Western at this point anyway.

I like Rex design, but I don't really like Pyra outfit due too sexy and big boobs.
I'm not a fan of big boobs gals.

@Anti-Matter I'm with ya there mate. The over-sexualization of women in videogames bugs me. Honestly, if the game's a good game it will be so regardless of whether or not some of the main characters have skimpy clothing that emphasizes their femininity. It distracts me from the game itself and breaks immersion. I am not a fan of that

@Anti-Matter Nothing wrong with big boobs IMO, although game developers do tend to overdo it with cleavage and such.

There was one in the other game you were unhappy about the boobs in. People just mostly ignore it when it's male nudity.

here are some comparisons for the game. (from it's reveal/E3 2017 to September 2017 Direct) i have to say, it looks more improved then the old trailers.

I mean, it's a Japanese game, so your type of girl might be here too :V

also 3d video game models have never actually been sexy (despite any attempts to make them sexy) so it's a non-issue anyway?
