also 3d video game models have never actually been sexy (despite any attempts to make them sexy) so it's a non-issue anyway?
That was a defensible position in like PS1 era graphics. Not so much now that they can make 3D models so realistic that you can't tell if they're glossy photos or not.
I like the sexy characters in games. I don't mind when it's not for me either. Then again, I'm an advocate of a way more expressive handling of anything sexual in games as well.
More on topic, I really like how the characters are designed in and within their environment. They fit and stand out at the same time. There's a lot of quality art in this game! The way the lights work in the surroundings, the nature shots especially... I'm very much looking forward to this.
@Tsurii lol yeah that movement always makes me laugh it looks so silly sometimes Still, I guess the world is just too huge to get into detailed motion matching the floor etc. for now. Superb motion exists though, like in ac games, but that would probably be very heavy to do.
I can't tell the voice acting is British? Can someone tell me right now forget your argument, about big boobs. I need to KNOW is there British voice acting HELP ME RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! Tell me! I will be piss if there is one British guy and others are Americans
@Onaga It's not necessarily that the boobs are big, that is fine and doesn't bother me too much. What bothers me is the revealing clothing. I mean, okay, give them big boobs, but put a decent outfit on that doesn't distract from playing the game just for cheap sexual appeal (which by the way isn't selling the game. Everyone who wants it will get it even if one of the main characters isn't showing 70% of her skin.) I don't want to have to look at assistant girl's booty in tight, too-short shorts the whole time I run around in this game.
Ok I'm done

God loves you
The extra polish in these months is noticeable in the new footage. The backgrounds look far better and not as fuzzy as in the Switch event in January.
As for Pyra, My biggest gripe is the lack of a back in the outfit. I don't care about boobs, since that is kind of a staple in Japanese games, but an outfit like that with no back is my pet peeve. Why can't they design outfits that are practical for women?
The Switch might well end up having the best 1st year catalogue of any console in history. If Mario and Xenoblade are as good as their series standards would have us expect.
And we still haven't seen much about the Zelda DLC.

IGN posted their first "Top 25 games on PS4" exactly 10 months after it released, and it was great to see how much better Switch's first year is (also 10 month period) - It's hilarious to see Sony fans discredit Switch for being a "port-machine" when a bunch of PS4's best games the first year were also ports (with Last of Us Remastered being the best PS4 game).
This is also coming from someone with both systems!
It's amazing that Monolith managed to have this game ready for launch worldwide this year. It helps that the engine was ready, but still... they don't waste any time.
And it makes me hope that the next project is something with XCX's storyline!
PS4 has developed an amazing library over time, but its first year did suck if last gen third party ports didn't get you weak in the knees. Switch has its fair share of ports, but it's also getting really awesome brand new games as well as some killer exclusives. Unless Mario Odyssey, FE Warriors, and XC2 mess the bed, it'll easily have one of the best year one libraries of any console I've ever seen.
I'm not worried at all about 2018 at this point. Even if the pace of releases slow down a bit, it's unlikely they're going to sacrifice the momentum this system has. And, one would hope, third party support will likely pick up next year as well now that the system is pretty much a confirmed success.
Actually, I liked the Wii u from day one as it provided me with great games from the get go and didn't stop until it faded into pergatory where it is now.
Switch has an insanely strong lineup. That was to be expected but still very noteworthy.
I don't think fe warriors will be that great of a game and do think xenoblade will be. Mario, xenoblade and Zelda dlc and maybe some eshop stuff will round the best year in gaming for me just fine.
I know xenoblade will carry me over the new years festivities just fine how will I balance that with the Zelda dlc though?
Buying XCX2, that stupid cliffhanger leaves SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS
The last cliffhanger was dumb and as I pointed out in the X thread, actually completely negates the main twist right near the end when you find the core.
It was blatantly just to leave the space open for a sequel. You can just ignore it completely and the story was finished quite nicely.
