@antster1983 I would be happy if they ported the first two games to the Switch as well. Even if digital only. But if they can port Broken Sword 5 then hopefully the rumoured to be in development Beneath a Steel Sky 2 will also come to the Switch.

@DarthNocturnal Cloud saving should be free as long as we don't have the option to back up our own save files. Sony charges for cloud saving through PS+, but at least we can back up our own files, for free.
The biggest issue is that there's no transparency whatsoever. For example, I still like to know how expensive online play (P2P included) truly is. How expensive is cloud storage? Frankly, I have no idea, but I don't think it's €60 a year like Sony and Microsoft are charging. I even don't think it's €20 a year. If I'm paying Sony €60 a year, and that's enough to fund all those ''free'' PS+ games, and they still have enough left to make profits worthwhile of boasting about, then I don't think the actual online was ever that expensive to begin with.
It isn't expensive at all. Saves are usually not big at all and it costs next to nothing have a server up.
And game servers are hosted at their respective publishers/devs. So that isn't a cost. If they didn't have the "free" games, I am not sure it would be legal for them to restrict access.
I decided to take a look at eShop charts. I was very surprised to see Vs. Super Mario Bros. in first place. 1-2-Switch is 15th right now thanks to being 30% off.
I bought ARMS on Thursday and it's great. I knew I'd like it but it's even better than I thought. Also bought Super Bomberman R today for 20€. I have 34 games now (retail + eShop exclusives, including both free pinball games).
No idea if this has been posted before, but System 3 (Super Putty Squad, FruitFall Crush, Constructor Plus) is bringing a racing game to the Switch. I wish it was a Ferrari game, but it isn't... (sigh)
@Late 1-2 Switch is 2nd in the Japanese charts and it isn't even on sale.
Broken Sword 5 would be superb to have on Switch. I didn't know there was 5th but from looking at reviews it's supposed to be a really good one. I've only played the original, Shadow of the Templars but I absolutely loved it. It remains to this day the only game I've ever completed on PC.
@antster1983 It looks like it will be a Switch exclusive. I'm always open for more racers, be it cartoon or realistic. Need to see this one in motion though to see whether it's worth caring about. I wonder if it's budget download title or a full price release?
Looks like Bethesda are donating a custom Skyrim Switch on Games Done Quick right now for about another 1 hour 30. That is pretty cool also kinda says how Bethesda's, hopefully, is thinking of the future support for the system.

Technical question, perhaps it has been answered before.
My dad has always warned about leaving things like phones and camera batteries charging all of the time, saying that it will ruin the battery. Knowing that, should I be disconnecting my Switch from the dock when not in use, or is it fine? I really don't want to mess up my battery.
@Harmonie I've been thinking the same thing, I'm used to leaving my consoles plugged in but if the battery makes me worried. I really don't won't to ruin it!
Surely it would be okay though, Nintendo must know that people will leave it in the dock...
I don't know, I just unplug it when I don't use it.
@Harmonie@Kimyonaakuma Modern day hardware is built with that knowledge in mind. They shouldn't fully charge the system by default (even if your device says it's fully charged). Likewise, they turn themselves off whenever their battery gets low, but there's always a bit of charge left. It's true that you shouldn't completely drain a battery, nor store a battery at full charge, but you shouldn't have to worry about that when using your phone, or Switch, software takes care of that.
Just spotted Brawl on the Eshop. It's like a dark Bomberman. It looks like it could be really good but sadly it received mixed reviews on PS4. Anyway, it'll cost £8.99 and it arrives on the 19th.
I'm curious if Nintendo will make anything available after the Direct, if indeed there is one on the 11th. I'm already planning to buy NBA Playgrounds on Monday and The Escapists 2 on the 11th. I'm also interested in Of Mice and Sand Revised and Furi. Anything from Nintendo on top and that's a flaming expensive week, especially for the middle of January.

@Kimyonaakuma
My habit is like this about Nintendo Switch.
I treat my Switch more like 3DS.
I plug in the cable if the Battery was very Low, charged directly on the console, not from the dock because charged directly will gain the % faster than being in dock.
