I'm very glad that there are size variations on bokoblins (in fact I bet that Captain Keeta-lookin' dude back at E3 was a stal-giant bokoblin), but I do want to see weirder, non-humanoid enemy types in my Zelda game.
Do what Star Fox and No Man's Sky never delivered on and give me a huge, functional sand worm boss!
Spoilers: There's actually new Zelda stuff today. We've now reached the stage in the marketing campaign where we can substantively show rain and lightning — and it look just like it did in Twilight Princess!

ARE YOU GUYS HIGH!?! Or dead? Or something?
We just got more info than we've gotten in months. We just got the Zelda theme!
Moreover, we saw horseback combat and weather: how the hell do you think THAT'LL work!? Will Link be able to attack with a cumbersome spear and heavy 2-handed weapon while mounted? Personally, I'm not sure he'll be able to swing it. And what about lightning—will it just randomly strike Link's metallic, skyward-strikin' ass dead? TELL ME!
@Haru17 It's so subtle, but you're right! Is it the main theme though? Or a part of the overworld theme?
Horseback combat looks the same as in TP, maybe you're only able to use single-handed weapons on horseback? Just like you're not able to hold a shield and spear at the same time (I think #speculation).
And yes, lightning, out of nowhere, one strike and you're dead. This is no game for babies, only skilled players can avoid the RNG of lightning.
Hmm...To get this on the Wii U or Switch? That is the question.
Props for them showing the Moblin boss! That looks like a fun fight.
I'll be sticking with the Wii U version. I doubt the Switch will be superior, given that they've gotta get the home version and the portable version to run fairly similarly.
Also, not the sort of game I'd generally play away from a big TV anyway. Xenoblade was just terrible on the gamepad. You need a big TV when it's a massive open world or you don't appreciate the scale.
@Octane The Zelda theme hasn't been the main theme of any game since Z1. Ocarina, Majora, Wind Waker, Twilight, and Skyward all have their own, unique, main themes. The Zelda theme often gets remixed into the overworld theme.
And no one in the demo was able to wield a shield with a spear (although that'd be awesome). I do hope we get horseback spear-throwing and jousting, though. Charge along and friggin' impale a bokoblin straight into a T rating.
Sorry, man, my time has been filled up with Switch talk. There's a lot going on right now.
As for music, there have been lots of games with the original zelda theme as their overworld theme, but the ones that don't usually have some coy hint of the classic "do sol, do do re mi fa sol." I can immediately think of some nice subtle ones in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.
Besides from the instance in this trailer, the small fragmented quotes of Hyrule Castle, Temple of Time, and Zelda's Lullaby in this game is as subtle as it gets! It's really cool.
@Haru17 It's clear that the music in the video is edited in afterwards, there's no annoying battle music to interrupt the overworld theme.
Still think there's a chance that the E3 trailer had the official BOTW theme. It would be a waste if that was just an orchestral piece for that single trailer.
@Octane Oh, I'm sure the trailer music was the title music / main theme for Breath of the Wild (unless the title theme is just ambient noise, and that plays for attract mode or something). They usually put those in the trailers.
Anyway, those scatted piano notes @Operative mentions do sound awfully similar to the bokoblin combat theme. I wonder if they won't just weave into the ambient overworld music (one of the melodies of which is the Zelda theme).
