Like, isn't that amazing considering how ignored capcom's Zeldas generally are?
The Oracle games are criminally underrated in my opinion. I haven't quite gotten around to playing Minish Cap yet.
I don't mind the cover, it's the price that has me a little hesitant. I'll probably wait until it goes on sale at some point. Besides, I need to look through Hyrule Historia again first.

I remember getting the Okami art book way back (it was $20-$40, but I received it as a gift). It was quite pretty If this Zelda art compilation is like that I figure it'll be worth it.
@DarthNocturnal Price is definitely not bad at all. Maybe I'm a bit biased, cause I'm used to buying $100+ books, but even compared to your average book of similar size, I can't complain.
I wanna know who thought it 'd look good to have Din and Nayru's emblems face inward in their pieces of the triforce and just slap Farore's in the third one without it doing the same. I think that cover would be one kickass version of the Hylian crest if that didn't bother me so much lol
I mean..even if it was coincidence that the first two actually line up like that someone must've noticed that no? They better fix that for the final release.
I disagree. Din and Nayru's symbols are a coincidence. If they tilted Farore's inward the small circle would be jutting up and to the right at a weird angle. I don't think that would look good.
@Haru17 I like the design for the cover. It has that technological feel to it, like the crest is a core device ripped straight out of a guardian or something.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The emblems appear as they would in any Zelda media. There is no "facing inward".

I personally love how the little song symbols from Oracle of Ages have become an integral part of the series' lore.

Minish Cap really isn't that ignored. I can't figure out why the Oracle games don't get a lot of love
I can't think of that many games that reference it... Outside of other games in the four swords series. Of which I think Minish Cap is the second-to-last.
I'd say the Game Boy line (GB, GBC, GBA) of Zelda games in general (LA, OoS, OoA, Minish Cap, Four Swords) usually have less love. It took several years for some Link's Awakening love in the form of the Hyrule Warriors Legends DLC for example.
Then again, Links Awakening did spawn quite a few regular characters (even Malon and Talon were based on Marin and Tarin), many items and concepts also migrated to the rest of the series. And the oracle series are secretly direct prequels.
It's not as much as with other games, but the acknowledgment is there.
Another nice thing with Hyrule Warriors Legends is that the seeds from the oracle games are fairy food, since the base game. So that's something.
And about the price...I don't get why anyone would think that's too much tbh. The book has 300 big pages that're filled with a f***ton of high quality artwork and it's a hardcover to boot. Books don't grow on trees, people...
I only recall dropping about $25 on Hyrule Historia (276 pages), and that was only a couple of months after it was released. I'm used to hardcovers being more expensive, but I normally don't buy books that are that size. XD I only tend to spend in the $5-$20 range for most books. Maybe if I were used to buying art books instead of fiction, i would think differently.
