@Blast since you've been hard at work on the zelda I've got a very important question is there going to be toast because you can't survive without toast and if you're lost the the first thing you need to do is find toast

There will be tons of... things for Link to eat in the game if you catch my hint.... heh...heh....
@AlternateButtons No way to know with the NX. You'd think it would be more powerful, since it's the newer system, but with rumors circulating that it might use tech that is well suited to mobile stuff but weaker than the Wii U it might actually be worse. I don't really think that's what the NX will be (Nintendo has always been good at keeping people guessing) but you never know.
@AlternateButtons I agree, highly doubt that they would do something like that. I was just spouting some of the recent rumors I've heard. I don't see why people would get excited for a hybrid console, since it would mean getting something worse than either a home or handheld. I suspect that Ninty will surprise us with whatever it ends up being. Still concerned that it will end up being gimmicky though...
On topic: The game could definitely do with less pop in. It doesn't seem to affect normal gameplay too much, but if you like to shield surf it could be a problem based on what I've seen.
Does anyone on this site want to talk about, you know, video games? As opposed to rumors about boxes that barely effect the diegetic realities we care about in the first place?

Do you have a podcast? 'Cause I'd listen just so I could learn new words. I mean, you use words so obscure that this site doesn't even think they're real. But I googled it. Diegetic is a real word. To answer the question, yes I'd love to, but it seems like this thread has exhausted it's current supply of subject matter. We probably won't see another reply to the thread until Nintendo releases another short video on Facebook about bokoblins throwing rocks or Blast finishes making the game.
@EOTW I actually learned "diegetic" listening to the Videogamer UK podcast, talking about the extradiegetic licensed music in MGS V. "Kids in America."
Anyway, I would take issue with the lack of content being the reason for not talking about the games. PS4 has just had perhaps its best week all year—seeing the release of Deus Ex, Inside, and the Nioh beta—and that thread is still talking about the Neo (not "Nioh," "Neo").

Yeah but the Neo hype train is still relatively new so Sony fans have reason to be excited. Nintendo fans though...
@Haru17 Well you know what Sony fanboys are like. Those specs mean everything.
Sure, we've seen BotW... over the last few years. As @EOTW mentioned, there's only so much to be discussed before the conversation runs out of steam (although there's always grass). Yes, I want to play it, but that's the point: I want to play it. It's been a long hype-train journey and I'm getting a bit bored waiting for the destination. I'm surely not the only one.

So, you've completely contradicted yourself from the start of this post? But, y'know, that's okay. After all, we all know what Nintendo fanboys are like. And don't even get me started about half-elves, dark elves, or Mexican-elves!

I never said that Nintendo fanboys are any different or better than Sony fanboys. Or elves, Mexican or otherwise. Maybe it's too early in the morning for me but I don't see any contradiction - can you kindly point it out for my tired eyes?
@Monkey_Balls You start off chiding "Sony fanboys" for an obsession with technical specs, but the rest of your post is justifying the conversation in the last page of this thread—discussing the NX and frame rates of all things.
The rest of my post was mocking that instantaneous contradiction.

Ah, I see. My post had nothing to do with the NX conversation though. It was based on your exchange with EOTW:
As @EOTW mentioned, there's only so much to be discussed before the conversation runs out of steam...
My post was solely about the wait for BotW, nothing more, but I can see where the connection to the NX conversation was made. Thanks for the clarification.
