I really want to know more about this game; we know next to nothing about it. I wonder why they don't talk to us more about it or at least give us some more details on it.

My best guess is that they don't want the story/info to be revealed just yet. Revealing the story and information about the game right now (Or direct) would made people lose interest in the game. They're probably waiting till next year (January at best) to show us more detail.

Well that doesn't explain why they haven't at least shown some character designs or concept art. Something other than just Link and Epona riding around in the grassy plains.

Yup, they have been unusually secretive about this one. But eh, we will eventually hear more.

Because of the Direct I decided to go look at the past Trailer and Gameplay video, and I feel a bit annoyed.

I too am itching for some news, but when they finally give it to us, I'll be glad they waited. After all, once they finally reveal that information, all I'm gonna wanna do is play it as soon as possible.

@Aromaiden: I'm not expecting too much info on Zelda U until after the release of TPHD, obviously that's the game they're going want to focus on in the coming months.

@cookiex: Wow, I can't believe I didn't notice that book before. It might be a really crucial item!

@Nicolai: the book is probably the compendium of lore and quest data, kinda like the bombers notebook from majoras mask

and judging from what they said about death mountain and how it looks like the mountain from skyward sword, maybe this game is the sequal to SS and the prequal to OoT and the game and story elements ties the three games together

Yah, you're probably right, but my idea is more fun

Almost every Zelda game had a volcano, and they all resemble each other, because.. Well, they're volcanoes. A volcano in Zelda doesn't mean anything in regards to its placement in the timeline (and that is probably something they'll worry about after the game is done).

This is in the alternate timeline where the Link from OoT did not win the free cow from the Lon Lon Ranch minigame as an adult.

i dont remember a cow minigame in OoT

@keife191: It wasn't a cow mini game, the cow is just what you win. The mini game opens up after you win epona and wake Talon. I think it's just horseback related. You try to beat the ranch record around the track.

oh ok, ya i never went back there lol. got my horse got the hookshot and went straight to the forest temple.
