I don't know anything about Miiverse. Can someone explain why that should be taken seriously? Is that the official page for the character or something?
It's official. It was from an interview (Miiting) with the Happy Mask Salesman. Well, not really, because the developers answered, but you get my point..
Which developers answered? If the zora and/or goron masks are in Zelda U I'll just die of happiness.

Excuse me, while I bask in the possibilities, of Goron-rolling across giant mountains, or zipping through the vast shore-line...
Does anyone else hope this game furthers the ability to be an "antihero" Link as was introduced in Skyward Sword. (You know, how you could select meaner and more jerkier things to do and say sometimes.) I'd love to see the hero of time rip someone off or something.

Doesn't say.
But it's not confirmed he'll be in Zelda U, there's just a possibility.
@Haru17 Actually, Zelda games are categorized as Action and Adventure, not JRPG, as there is no leveling system or deep character customization.
I didn't say it played like a JRPG, but 3D Zelda games are certainly structured like most JRPGs; a long, linear adventures with some sort of overworld where you can revisit past areas.
Just like action adventure games
Action-adventure is such a broad genre so as to be a useless comparison. Most traditional JRPGs use the world structure I citied, as well as a corresponding narrative structure, so it's a good comparison for Zelda.
I think Cia/Lana and Postman Link should return if it turns into a JRPG.

Ha! An interview with a fictional character? Well that's broken the needle on my nerdometer.
I think you meant "slowly but steadily swimming through the vast shore-line"
If they screwed up the zora swimming twice I would have no words...
I don't see why people are so bitter about that change. You can just press R, and even after your magic is gone you can press it over and over to get the same effect you'd have in the original. It just seems like a nitpick. I loved actually being able to control Zora Link in Great Bay Temple and the freaking Sea Snake portion of the game.

Because it's more fun in the original game. Swimming shouldn't be a resource -_-

You still have to delete your magic whenever you want to go fast while swimming. Either way, in my daydream, there's Chateau Romani
It'd be dope if a game explored how the Twili first came to Hyrule, their connections to the Sheikah, and potentially the dark magic that Majora used and the creation of the mask. Potentially that's where the ancestor of the Happy Mask Salesman comes in.

This is satire right?

Nope. You presume to have an issue?
It's literally a combination of the least original ideas for a Zelda story. Like, if you ask someone what they'd like to see in a Zelda story, all 5 things you mentioned are very likely to show up on the list. I don't have an issue with them really, but it would have been a hilarious satirical statement.
