So . . . does this confirm the DasVergerben leak? The leak suggested Ice Climbers, Snake, Ridley, and Simon Belmont would be making an appearance. I think Simon would be a great addition.

Folk said Smash for Switch would be 4.5.Looks more like 4.9 to me.

@DarthNocturnal Yeah, I found that match annoying, but only because Ridley's second stock was taken by that stupid Beetle item. Lord, how I hate that item so much. Using it only results in cheap knockouts.

Oh, and as for the reasons for the match... well, it's certainly not going to help Bayonetta's reputation, is it?

ALRIGHT! Ridley, Snake and Wolf, LETS GO!...but I will be greedy and ask for several more newcomers. I didn't see any BoTW, ARMS, or Indie reps (or Birdo and Waluigi), so I'm still expecting more.

Haha, I get where you're coming from! The one character that I really didn't approve of was Ryu. I mean, Ryu is the star of one of the biggest fighting game franchises of all time. I'd much prefer Nintendo characters that haven't had a chance in the spotlight to be playable. Truly a waste of character slot, in my humble opinion.

As for Bayonetta, I was kinda expecting that disastrous (in a funny way, of course) match, to be honest. A top tier character vs. a newcomer? It's literally a "noob vs. pro" situation in that case. I just hope that Ridley is given a chance by the Smash community before he is written off as that one character that got bodied on the day Smash was revealed...

I'm not hyped about this game, unfortunately. 95% of the content is old and all the excitement is about returning features rather than moving the series forward in exciting new ways. 2 new characters, a few new stages and assist trophies, and small character tweaks are not worth $60. (That being said, a new story mode would completely change my mind!)

Hello, Today I come to talk them to you about some ideas for the new smash bros. When I saw the trailer of the new game, I thought about some "details" that were repeated with respect to the previous games, like

1) Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong and Bowser's voices (please, I want to hear their voice sounds with their respective voice actors from their video games)

Kenny James - Bowser
Takashi Nagasako - Donkey Kong
Katsumi Suzuki - Diddy Kong

2) Diddy Kong with him "backpack" (DK Country Returns and Tropical Frezze)

3) New comers characters (Crash Bandicoot, Shovel Knight, others...)

95% of what was revealed, which may only be 30% of the game

Ultimate is the best case scenario for Smash Bros imo. Everyone is back, loads of stages are back (75 so far!) and you can take the game on the go.

And while there won't be as many Newcomers, I think Sakurai could add even more fighters and stages as content updates given how early this is released in Switch's life cycle.
