Once you start getting some good mods, and upgrade the Equinox to fuse mods, the outlaw bases seem approachable. First thing is taking out those turrets, and always moving

For anyone on the fence the starter pack is down to $30 on Amazon! Game must've tanked hard, unfortunate days is actual quite good!!
Yeah... I snaked it. It was $39 the next day. Glad I waited. I bought the Skylander racing game at launch and saw it for like $15 at some point. Sounds pretty cool.
I definitely have gotten my money’s worth on the game, so I’m not sore about the price drops. It is unfortunate for the game itself, because it’s very fun and probably could have pulled of a more in-depth sequel. Seems unlikely that could happen after the continued sales drops, though.

It's a real bummer to see the price drop this quickly after I paid full price, but I'm still playing it and having a ball, so I'll live with it. I'm actually just taking a break from one of my more intense Starlink sessions, just finished taking down a dreadnought and honestly pulled my Switch off the TV stand in my excitement. The Switch fell out of the dock and landed on the floor, still playing but in handheld mode, so I scooped it up and finished the fight in handheld.
There aren't many games I've gotten so much enjoyment out of. It's not really GOTY material, but worth the money.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
As I predicted in the comments of that article last week when they tried to get our affiliate goodness at £30, it's dropped another £10 already (more if you've got a Smyths near you). It'll probably go even lower, but as I was interested in the game and the Star Fox content, I'll bite at £20.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
I paid $80 for the deluxe digital day one. Great game. I've paid more for games with a season pass that have delivered way less fun and replayability. Hopefully more people will give it a try with the low price.
No sequel if its doing this bad on sales though.
Took the plunge now that it's on sale for 50 bucks in the eshop. I know it's way cheaper physical but not having the hassle with the toys is worth the difference for me. Looking forward to playing this with my little nephew at Christmas!
Either seems like a reasonable option if the Collection Pack has everything not in the starter pack. Digital Deluxe edition is £44.99 vs. Physical Starter pack for £19.99 and Digital Collection Pack for £29.00, £4 for a physical Fox + Arwing model is pretty good.
@Grumblevolcano Yes, definitely all the extra content is in the collection pack. Toying with getting it myself but don't know how much I'll actually play the game.
So, not sure who's still reading the comments in here but gonna ask anyway -
my son is getting the physical starter pack for his birthday tomorrow from my mom (she's not big on digital gifts and she was looking around Target and saw this for $30) so knowing we have the physical starter pack - and don't really want any more toys - is there a good way to go buy the optional digital DLC?
From the website I only see the game for $60 and deluxe for $80. The 12 pieces of DLC total $89 (maybe $87, quick math).
Any chance I put the cartridge in and after downloading the required 18GB (which I hope we have room for but now I'm not sure) there will be a DLC bundle option for $19.99 or $29.99 in game?
Anybody have any experience w/ the physical starter pack and DLC please let me know.
Someday we'll find it

@rjejr There are options to buy the rest of the stuff digitally from the store page of the game. Can't remember the prices, but there are singular and bundle options available.
