@wolfleaf Marooners Bay is really fun to me, as a map, but I agree, teammates seem to be awful on it. If I could give you a tip (mind you, I am only Pro+3) it would be to put eggs on the elevators. Is you have to go down to get a Stinger, for example, throw the eggs on the lift, then when you ride up, they will all be there.
@moffo As someone who just fell from S to S- via losing streak, I can relate! Like @bingleybongley said, a short (or long) break can be really helpful! I like to play TableTurf against Gnarly Eddy for some reason, so I will do a round of that if I am doing poorly. If I am really having trouble, I scream at my teammates (JK). I usually put the Switch away and come back another day.
Sat down for a proper session of 3 for the first time in a while yesterday and good lord I got humbled to oblivion in Salmon Run; Marooner's Bay with only one weapon I'm moderately familiar with (Splatana Stamper) was not a good idea XD

I think I saw the first cheater/hacker today.
He had the badges for being "level 999" with his regular player level and in Table Turf. He also had the badge for 10 million lifetime Grizzco points.
Looked at his playtime. Only had roughly 300 hours...

Oh, you mean Bob? Lol, I had the same thing, that was the guys name.
I'm mildly pleased with my current locker setup. I landed a Lucky Salmonid Neon Sign from Hotlantis, and I made a stream of small salmonid neon fish falling from the sky into his mouth.
I'm also pleased with my tag title for the halloween season, "Evil Salmon Runner". Although, I'm a bit disappointed at how hard it is to read titles on the Splatooween banner. That orange font doesn't stand out very well. https://i.postimg.cc/WbJYsxvX/locker-banner.jpg
@Wolfleaf I hate Marooner's Bay. Egg toss has made it more manageable, but it's still the worst SR stage. When it was announced to be returning, I saw a lot of people excited and I was like "Have you guys not played that stage in Splatoon 2?!" However you can do well on it with a good team. I got paired with an amazing team of randoms on it Monday late night and we killed it. Win after win and we took down Horrorboros both times we got him. They were such a great team.
The halloween music in the lobby & in matches is great! I've got to go rip this Splatoween lobby song from youtube if I can find it. Wow. XD It's a real shame this music is for one weekend.
Wow. I got three 10x battels within my first five matches. Unreal. Only won one of them. BUT I finally got the Deep Cut badges of Shiver, Frye, Big Man, which you get for three 10x battles, if I remember right.
Deepers Creepers Splatoween lobby song. Apparently there's a Day 1 version and a Day 2 version? The beginning of the day 1 version is my favorite, I think.
@Croctopus Last splatfest, team Frye had most votes at the beginning of Splatfest, just like now, and we didnt have the the most votes by the end of Splatfest. So, it could change.
Luckily it turns out I can do Splatoween and I am so glad I didn’t miss it! Nintendo really put in all the little touches. I tend to overreact but let’s just say that as I found the swirly ink, old time filters, etc., I had to repeatedly and verbally tell myself to calm down! 😅
I had a great start in this Splatfest!
16 Wind and 6 Losses. Three of them were x10 matches and I won all of them. 😁
The Tri-Colour map this time around is Brinewater Springs. What a interesting map for that mode. Can't wait!
@WoomyNNYes There's also Eggstra Work next weekend. It's weird that they clumped everything this season together in early September and this late October/early November period.
I think I figured out why Splatfests felt more fresh in Splatoon 2. Back in Splatoon 2 there were monthly content updates and each Splatfest had its own Shifty Station so each Splatfest had 2 new stages. Meanwhile with Splatoon 3, the content updates are every 3 months and most Splatfests didn't have a unique stage either so sometimes Splatfests felt kind of samey.
I feel that the Zelda Splatfest and Splatoween are the most fresh ones so far. I could also easily see Frosty Fest (if it happens) and Final Fest joining that list.
