I hate it when my team and I have the lead in a match then at the last minute the other team makes us lose the lead… I’m suffering in series right now because of it 🥲
@CaleBoi25 Making it into s rank using undercover is much more impressive than getting to x rank and then start using it, so I'd argue that you're probably a better undercover player than me!
@luckyseven Yeah, overtime sort of sucks for both sides
Been making better progress with Salmon Run, getting above evp 200 multiple rotations last week.
Being new territoty for me, I was surprised how smalle the playerbase was small on Sunday above evp 200. Even after taking a couple 5-10 minute breaks, I still got teamed with players I played with earlier. On the plus side, the teams were generally better, but even even at evp 250 I was still getting teammates that don't paint walls, keep paint on the ground, or shoot down drizzler missiles.
Nice to get an evp 200 badge for a harder map like Salmonid Smokeyard. Based one what I've seen in the past three rotations over evp 200, I'm not sure I have the skill to get to evp 400.
The next patch (presumably with balance adjustments) should be out tonight if the Mahi Mahi maintenance is anything to go by so does anyone here have any last-minute hopes/predictions for it? I'm personally hoping that Curling Bomb gets an ink cost reduction (hopefully to around 45%) since I feel like it'd make a ton of weapons (namely Splat Roller and Painbrush) so much more fun to use

@CaleBoi25 I only kept EVP recently because I'd stop playing if I dropped to EVP 10, then wait a day+ for next rotation and for rank to reset back to EVP 40. I don't know how long I'll keep that up. I think there will be days I care more about playing than I do about keeping EVP.
I've been blabbing in here about being stuck in Pro 1 to Pro 3 since April-ish. XD So, I know your pain.😉😁
you know when I said I wanted Curling's ink cost to go down, this wasn't quite what I had in mind but goddamnit I'll take it nonetheless XD
Very satisfied with this patch overall though; yeah Trizooka/Splattershot getting more or less off scot-free is frustrating and some of the PFS changes are....strange to put it mildly, but the buffs given to a majority of the main weapons actually feel like they're going to be really substantial (particularly the ones for S-Blast and Hydra, good lord I am TERRIFIED of Hydra), Curling finally got it's ink-cost buff (not a big one yes, but a nice one all the same) and Killer Wail might actually be extremely threatening depending on how things pan out (might actually pick vanilla Tri-Stringer back up because of it).
so yeah: pretty happy overall and I'm very excited to try out stuff like S-Blast and Splat Roller again!

@luckyseven
When they announced that they are remodelling Mahi, I didn't think that the changes would make a lot of a difference. But wow! The stage feels like Mahi, but totally different at the same time. (Turf War. Hadn't got a chance to play it in ranked mode)
@Budda It is more open, which is a big plus, but the map still doesn’t feel fantastic… but glad you like it. I wish it had gotten a right side flank, but it’s still pretty good.
I love the new outfits! Shiver’s is my fave, can’t wait to wear the full set once I get all of the pieces! Also did anyone listen to the datamined Splatoween music? They sound so good
