@Nicolai yeah I had the same thought. As someone who's not a little child that needs protection, these codes feels really unnecessary.

Btw the room got disconnected or something while I looked up the fc, I created a new room.

I joined @Nicolai's game because it was the first on the list. We need one more squid to go online if I understand correctly.

@TheLZdragon Nice. I'll be doing the same, already ordered the download code. It's a bummer though that I have to get up early on friday. When ARMS and Botw were released, I played the whole night.

As soon as I went to respond to @LegendOfPokemon 's friend request, I was kicked out of the room. Hopefully we can all play together now.

Oh and yeah, my performance needs improving too. Still have to ge to grips with the new special weapons etc

@shani Yep. I felt bad; the love for Marina is kinda unfair, since she's gorgeous. They really do make a fantastic duo.

Did they remove the music-changing feature in the lobby?

@Nicolai You mean the one that gets unlocked with an amiibo?
Yeah I think they moved squidbeatz2 to the square.

@Nicolai Weird. It just seems to be gone in the team battle lobby, but I was playing with it in random matchmaking just a few minutes ago.

@Haru17, You can still play with it by covering one speaker with your thumb and mouthing words over the other one. :3

Sorry, I'm really trying to get used to these controls. It'll take a while. There probably isn't a game I didn't play more than Splatoon on the Wii U, so I've got some deeply-ingrained habits to break.

Having played more matchea against my own team so far seems to confirm that.

Ok now I get how the dodge with the dualies works (and how the tentamissiles work too).
