It also helps that people can't have run speed maxed.

Also, by far the best thing about Splatoon 2 so far is how the stage themes are actual songs sung by Pearl and Marina instead of just weird electro squid noises.

@shani I've just woke up,I'll try go on for an hour or 2 once I've got some more coffee in me.I don't understand how the dodge works either.I really like the Dualies as a weapon but I hate it's special.I'm not sure I managed to take anyone out with it but plenty times,I was splatted attempting to.

@silentium I do use motion controls,I couldn't play it any other way.

But I think we're doing fine, most players seem to be unexperienced. Except for the we just lost to.

@Haru17 Pretty sure that only counts for the Splatfest theme. Any other themes you'll hear in the game are performed by various bands.
Not that that's a bad thing!

@Haru17 Well, the original game had Callie and Marie singing the splatfest battle song.

Btw I figured it out. If you hold down ZR while jumping, you dodge. It's a bit confusing because of old habits.
And you need a target for the missiles, so it only really makes sense to activate that special when you have an enemy in sight.

Gah, I got hit while I was going up for my Splashdown. Didn't know that could happen!

@Vee_Flames Oh, you mean like the music during the March beta? Ew tho. I just can't stand the main theme, or at least the track they play in the Mario Kart arena.

When you're waiting in the lobby,if you push a direction on the D-pad or on one of the face buttons it makes various sounds.

@Snaplocket Careful, this game can get you hooked pretty quickly.

@LegendOfPokemon That happened to me like three times in solo que. also, RIP the other roller and me who flew in sync and died instantly.

@Haru17 I never played the March demo haha, but in normal non-Splatfest matches different kinds of music not perfomed by Pearl and Marina will be played. Including the ones with the weird squid noises

How good does the night theme look.Moray Towers which is up later looks especially good and different from what I remember it looking like during the originals Splatfests.
