@b4real13 no problem, happy to help. You can also unlock soundtracks to listen at the arcade next to the Shoal after the 3 gears. I just got two from the inkling boy and girl version 2 (haven't rescan in a long while) this morning. This also applies to the first Splatoon amiibo.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Tri is OP. At least in Turf War. It probably needs to be nerfed.
I'm barely winning games without it today. Also, it's becoming a lot more popular, and I can usually determine the results of the match based on how many Tri's are on each side. Hopefully this is only true at my level of play.
There have been games using the roller where, when it comes down to splats and turf control, I do pretty well. But I look and the enemy team covered their side much faster than ours already, and their side of the map is littered with Tri sloshes. It's just so damn efficient with it's ink, it covers turf so much faster than any other weapon save the Jr. In Turf War that is devastating.
@Nicolai I was first on my team about 85% of the time with the Areosprayer. I went up against a few tri but don't remember the outcome. I do remember getting splated a few times though by them. For me the Areo is perfect and it charges so fast plus with the curlings that also covers a lot of area fast as well.
I had a few matches were my whole team was negative on the kill/death and still won.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
@Spoony_Tech Aerosprayer is another good inker, I've seen a lot of those too.
Also, I'm getting really sick of this matchmaking music. I kinda miss the music minigame from Splatoon 1, which i used to change the music all of the time.
My first proper Splatfest! Doing much better than I had anticipated as a Team Mayo. The Shifty Stage is gorgeous. I hope they bring it around again in the future.
@EdJericho Here in the Western US, 6pm EST is dinner hour for me. Not sure how long you were planning to play, but I'll be on around 9pm EST, if that works for you?
Been having a similar ketchup versus ketchup matchup (NA). For every one vs mayo match, I get 3-4 ketchup if I don't get a second mayo right after.

@Nicolai It seems unfair to nerf a weapon based on performance in a single mode. Inkbrush was a monster at scoring in the first game's Turf War, but was never really considered a great weapon in spite of that.
I think the real issue with the tri-slosher (which, as far as I can tell, is mostly unchanged from the first game) is simply the map design rather than the weapon itself. Smaller, with lots of short changes in elevation that allow it to play to it's strengths. That and a tendency for new players to fight at close range and it's easy to see why it's popular. But experienced players know what to avoid when facing one. And really, if something can be reasonably countered, that's all the balance you really need. I certainly can't think of nerfs that wouldn't end up making it rather bad.
Splatfest-wise, while I certainly got more ketchup-vs.-ketchup, I'd say I also got a fair number of mayo battles. It's interesting to note that Pearl's side has won both splatfests so far in Japan.
@meleebrawler Yeah, you're right. And besides, later on I had quite an effect on the battlefield using a charger. It just depends on the game. Whose to say what should or shouldn't be nerfed, if all one sees is their own games at their own skill levels, in the modes they were playing in at the time?
