Topic: Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet

@Kermit1Pineapple Not sure if its timezone restricted, in germany I am currently playing the digital.

Quick little question for those who are currently playing the game (such as @Hayter): does the game give you a recommendation on which Gym Leaders to fight in what order? The lack of level scaling is throwing me off immensely and I'm just curious if there's a nudge in the right direction (please don't mention any names though: I'd much rather find that out myself ).

I preordered through amazon so I’ll likely get my copy in like a week.

Keep spamming the B button and then missing out on attacks I could have learned because I am accidentally denying learning them hahahaha, turns out relearning them is easier than its ever been,

@Fizza spoiler-free spoiler tag theres no recommendation from what I can tell, thats why I initially was in a bit of a little rant yesterday because I was really upset about it. However, most areas you should not be in are cut off by mountains that can only be climbed if you unlock that ability with your vehicle-mon for example.

Very bad start with Scarlet for me. During the cave part near the beginning the game partially froze. Couldn't move at all or open any menus. Only the camera was working. Unfortunately I turned off autosave so had to start from the very beginning again. Hopefully it was an isolated incident but defintely put a damper on the game for me.

Hmm aren’t scarlet and violet just different shades of
Red or purple.?

@Atomic77 Shade of red, shade of blue and the third version if theres one, will probably be a shade of yellow (canary?)

I am currently fighting a Level 20 Car. Why am I fighting cars? Wheres the refund button?

This is annoying, I got Violet as it was meant to be the version with Tyranitar in it but only spacey wacey Tyranitar is in it and normal Tyranitar is in Scarlet whilst that cool new Salamence is in Scarlet.

I’ve played it for a few hours now and it’s very true to Pokemon as it’s one step forward and two step backwards. At least it doesn’t open with god creeping into children’s bedroom at night to steal them from their parents again!

So the game is already released.
Can I post my comment about the final evolution looking of the starters without spoiler tag ?

Have they changed the shiny odds again? I've been playing for less than an hour and already have a shiny Lechonk.

Maybe I've just finally had some luck when it comes to shinies.

I have seen the in game map in videos why is there a greyed area with lines in the north is that for dlc like an area between kalos and pladia so is the dlc based on aquatine/andora or due to all the Africa looking pokemon maybe marroco

I kinda love that you can just unleash your Pokemon to wreak havoc on the countryside now. I just wanted my LeChonk chase down a terrified wild Pokemon a surprisingly long distance. Haven't laughed that hard in a while.
