@AegisPrime The main character designs won't change. They never do. However, this shouldn't really make or break a game. It's the gameplay that actually matters.

Not to mention you’ll likely be able to just change their clothes

I really like the new character designs. They're quite different from the samey designs that we've had since Sun/Moon, and are fittingly more European looking.

I just wish that we could play as adults though rather than continuing to be Pidove-holed into playing a kid game after game, but that's only a minor gripe.

These MCs remind me a bit of the character designs in Detective Pikachu.

@AegisPrime you would probably be better off comparing it to Sword and Shield, which does have much better, modern, customization options.

I think I like the main characters. I like that it looks different from what we have had since X/Y.

I hope it will have voice acting, but I seriously doubt it.

I wish more languages would come to game like petition of https://chng.it/JbgYrkj4sk Latin American Spanish. Plus I wanted to see Russian for years, because it's one of bigger languages that is being used in the world, a lot of older Lithuanians can only speak/read only Lithuanian and Russian, and at least in 2016 I saw that in same time when new trailers came for Sun & Moon there was Russian ones too.
Plus could someone from personnel/staff merge in this thread here https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/nintendo-switch/loving_th... cause good mod would been done that instead just locking it or deleting it.

I hope this game doesn’t have voice acting. Don’t trust gamefreak with it at all.

@VoidofLight Quite same honestly but for a different reason: I love putting my own voices onto characters in a game without voice acting. I did it for Ace Attorney, I did it for BDSP and Legends Arceus and I plan on doing it again for SV. Hearing them say every word makes it harder for me to connect with the game since I have my own idea of what they sound like so it doesn't bother me (it's actually why I was terrified of The Great Ace Attorney since I had heard it had full voice acting but thankfully it's just the glorious voice clips that I love from AA with the full voice acting being in the cutscenes).

I will glad to hear voice acting for Gen 9, even the dubbing quality like FF X.

On theme about voice acting in these games, I want at least some kinda voice thing in these games. They could do voices without words like Sims games do it or give voice acting to Main Story and Main Post-Story/Gameplay. Either case would be enough for me.

@SViper Maybe pull a Xenoblade and have little bits of speech when talking to NPC's?
