@VoidofLight
The anime has pretty good voice acting in my opinion, both Japanese and English version.
You cannot deny how good is Veronica Taylor voice for Ash Ketchum voice (also Sailor Pluto VIZ dubbing version).
@Anti-Matter I think the best anime was the OG series, XY&Z, and just maybe this knew one, the black and white games to I guess, But ash has only gotten more annoying with each series and the only time I have ever seen any real character growth was in XY&Z, which sun and moon decided to get rid of soo.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

Once again,
Good voice acting > No voice acting > Bad voice acting
also even if it had voice acting, they'd probably only bother to voice act less than half of the dialogue (even just including major characters who would be voice acted at all in the game), which is also bad
@VoidofLight
I mean don't take it too seriously.
It wasn't bad after all.
Nothing wrong for Pokemon games have voice acting like on anime, same as FF X got voice acting for the first time on PS2.
I kinda disagree about the voice acting been that bad even though I'm not a fan of english dubs in general. To me japanese voice acting is overhyped, and while there's lots of talent there's also many characters that sound really weird (like Goku) and actors that really have poor range and sound almost the same in different animes. In my case I'm proud of the work that is done here in Mexico and other latin american countries and wouldn't mind if the game finally has it, although is doubtful that it will and it isn't that much of a necessity.
Thankfully though, it seems like Gamefreak won't do voice acting for the main series. An interview cites that the reason for it is because of how much of a hassle getting dubs for all 9 languages would be for a game, and allowing them to launch simultaneously world-wide. They also don't want to rob the player of deciding a character's voice in their head, going by the image I saw.
@VoidofLight
I think Gamefreaks can use soundbite like on Yokai Watch 3 games or Yokai Watch Blasters games such as "Oooh... " "Hey!" "Yes!" "Oh, no... " "Hmm...", " Say what?!" etc to make it better for Gen 9 Pokemon.
I got better gaming experiences from 3rd party games so I think it will be a better improvement for Pokemon games.
I kind of feel like the catching mechanics controversy is dumb. I get that people liked how Arceus did things, but the catching mechanics in Arceus worked only for a game where you have to catch multiples of a species to fill out the pokedex. It's much like Let's Go and it's catching mechanics. I don't think it really matters all that much if the next game isn't a massive action-based RPG like Legends was, but more aligned with the core pokemon titles, with little improvements showcased in Legends Arceus.
It seems like battles happen seamlessly in the overworld, much like Arceus, so they aren't just removing improvements like others claim. They're mostly just keeping Legends separate from the core formula.

Clicking through Arceus' generally fairly long conversations was very tedious, I don't mind if it is text heavy in say like a CRPG because there they include dialogue options so I am actually incentivised to read, engage and it feels like an actual mechanic, not just a cost saving exercise. However, as others have said, if they included voice acting and it was bad, I think that would be worse than just having to go back to click through text.
In regards to the catching thing, I think I would miss Arceus' catching mechanic, but I wouldn't miss having to catch like 25 of the same Pokemon to get like 1 XP. If it is both, or none at all, I'd rather none at all.
I didn't really mind the long amounts of text in Arceus, given I play other JRPGs, and older JRPGs have pretty much the same thing. The only reason why it grated on me in Sun and Moon was because the game wouldn't even let you breath, and the level design was god awful, but Legends fixes that with a more open level design, and new mechanics that actually justify a tutorial.
