@Buizel Yes, the game is so fun to play, I'm hardly worried about the graphics. Graphics don't make the game, a game could have amazing graphics and still suck, and yes you can argue they could be better, and that's true, but if the game is fun, if its really Enjoyable, it did what it set out to do.

Hey guys, just want to ask something, can you get Dialga/Palkia in the postgame depending on which one you didn't pick?

I think the biggest problem with the visuals is the anti-aliasing overkill, sometimes it looks like someone has ran some sort of cheap pixel art over the visuals. Especially when the camera pulls back when you're on mounts or if you gather all of your Pokemon in a small space.

@Fizza You should put a spoiler tag over this, but yes, you can get all the pokemon in this game without trading.

@Snatcher So sorry, just did that now. I had to choose between Adaman and Irida and I still feel miserable about it now. Both of them were amazing characters, far exceeding my expectations when I first saw them. However, whereas I fell in love with Adaman at first sight, I didn't like how Irida looked or acted at all. But over the course of the game, hearing her backstory and seeing her develop, I had to choose her. Once again, I feel miserable about it. HOW HAS A POKEMON GAME MADE ME FEEL THIS WAY.

To get me out of my current sadness, I will absolutely say that Hisuian Avalugg is one of the best mons in the game. His boss fight is amazing as well, he's just so BEEG.

@TommyTendo Does it have something to do after finishing the story? 20 Hours isn't a bad time but I'm a bit worried about how engaging it is to explore the areas.

I assume the answer is completing the pokedex, doing whatever comes as the reward for that, and then hunting shiny pokemon.

Are the requirements to evolve Pokemon that need to be traded in other games to trade in this game? For example in the previous games you had to trade to evolve Haunter into Gengar.

@Grumblevolcano these pokemon now evolve with an in-game item.

There's no trading required.

@roy130390 there seem to be post game only Pokémon to hunt down.

Oh really? I traded a machoke with a friend earlier and it evolved into a machamp, is there another way to evolve those ones too? I know the ones that are usually traded with held items you can use those on them instead, but I haven't noticed an item for the standard trade-to-evolve pokemon.

@Cynas Ah that's cool that they kept it as an additional method then!

There's a new "Linking Cord" in-game item that works just like any other evolution stone. It's how I got my Machamp.

@roy130390 Kinda depends, Someone is still around the start area of the game, and are almost 20 hours into it, if you really wanted to you could get through the whole game in about 10 hours, but thats if you ignore things like side quest, and only catch pokemon to the point your rank goes up.

Then again, I have yet to beat the game, and I'm guessing a little bit, because I'm almost to the end.

It seems like a missed opportunity that local wireless multiplayer and perhaps even online multiplayer aren't supported with respect to exploring the world as a group. It could have been really fun to run around hunting for this or for that.

Why is this game so good?! 23h in 3 and a half days. I only played AS on 3DS before so almost every Pokémon is brand new for me.

It was probably beyond the capabilities of their engine.
