Man I don't even remember what I put for my Guild Card photo. Might need to update it.

Anyways HELL YEAH I'm hyped for the digital event. I want more info on things to do end game besides farm the final boss over and over for melding fodder, and I wanna know about unlocking HR and stuff. And let us fight Apexes solo damnit!

I’d love to hunt with you guys, but it’s time for bed. Gotta get up for work early every day. And going in super early Sat morn means early to bed tomorrow.

But I should have Sunday off, so Saturday evening and all day Sunday, it’s go time. Just unlocked Rakna Kadaki urgent quest. Think I have about 8-9 quests left in HR6 and whatever’s in HR7. Then it’s all about farming monsters for parts, and rampage, which I haven’t even really begun to dig into yet.

These aren’t “screenshots” but in-game pics taken with the in-game camera function used to catalog endemic life, small monsters and large monsters. There is a setting in the menu so that pictures also save in your system album, but you don’t have to have that turned on.

The pics are a major aspect of the game, as they no longer offer guild card backgrounds like every other MH before Rise- instead, they let you make it even more personal and unique by assigning a pic you’ve taken with the in-game camera your cohoot holds. This allows everybody’s guild card to be different, and far more personalized. And since you can click the analog to switch between selfie-mode, you can do awesome poses with your palico and Palamute in cool gear in front of an epic landscape and use as your guild card photo.

You can even hang pictures you’ve taken in your room. Talk about making it feel cozy. I have a pic of me and my brother hanging next to the door where you walk in, a picture of me and TeeJay on the wall and my palico in the corner. This is easily one of my favorite aspects of this game and that’s barely even scratching the surface, as you also get to catalog all the monsters and endemic life with pictures you take which makes it feel like you are documenting your journey as you go. You are lining up the best shots, which aren’t always easy to get because time doesn’t stop, but it’s super addictive to get perfect photos to catalog in your notebook.

All that being said, pics can be shared directly to Twitter now which is far better than Miiverse. Basically everyone on the planet is on that social media platform. And, it makes it super easy to share on websites because you can just copy the tweet and post it in the forum. I liked Miiverse at the time, but I think it was the right call to move on from a closed ecosystem.

It’s not that nobody cares, it’s just that... it’s already April 22nd, and we knew ahead of time we’d be getting the update before April is over. Meaning it has to come in the next week regardless. Doesn’t mean people aren’t excited for it, it’s just that we’ve known this for some time. I’m sure we’ll all be discussing it once the day comes.

I’m... not sure. Usually your guild card just updates so you don’t have to resend (except for locked equipment if you select that option). But it does offer the option to send with the picture so perhaps you do? Next time we hunt, just resend to be safe.

Well, it still would've been fun to talk about it more or something. I dunno...

Ugh, some of these stupid relics constantly make me go "...Seriously?" every single time I find one. Like, how did I miss this one? Or something...anyways, managed to complete the Sandy Plains relics, since I doubt any Rampage ones are here (only have 2 left).

Also...I think my skills with the Charge Blade just went to crap for me...like, I'm doing so terrible with it now...ugh, screw it I'll just stick with the gunlance again. >.<

....I want to look up a guide, but at the same time I...don't want to? I'd feel terrible doing this, I dunno...same goes for the rare endemic life stuff. xD I already have the fox and snail, I know where the cobra is at it just hasn't shown up for me. Dunno about the other two.

Anyways yeah, then it seems like I have another relic in the Plains, bleh...lol

Apparently there’s a silk spider that most people forget exists, with it easily allowing you to mount monsters.

Yup. Should be one on every map.

Yeah if I run into the spider, then I'll grab it...otherwise..."meh". I hate spiders anyways, lol

I mostly just wait for monsters to fight eachother, or I lead them together.

That reminds me (...I really should be in bed, ugh, lol), that stupid Stinkmink thing or whatever it's called. I tried using it a couple of times and...I don't get it. I try to get a monster to chase me, but before I can get it to an area I'm wanting, the monster just randomly gives up and leaves, even with the effect still going...

I go out of my way for that spider when possible. Not picking it up is just asking to miss out on HUGE damage. Not to mention I just love monster riding and want to do it whenever possible.
