@RAMBOKNIFE I'd just go with the standard. The deluxe edition is 10 dollars more, but it's no different than buying the base game, except you get a couple of different cosmetics. If you want the cosmetics, and don't care about the higher price, then get the Deluxe one.

Does anyone know of there's a companion app yet as I can't seem to find one.
Just getting ready to start working towards my end game build and want to maximise hunting time.
@Mr-Fuggles777
No. There probably won’t be for some time, as free apps take quite a long time to create, and not just program, but gather all the data for. It’s probably going to be a while before the MHR DB app releases, assuming someone’s working on it (which I assume so, since MHGU DB app and MHW DB app were so well regarded).

@JaxonH thank you, will have to keep using pen and paper for the time being lol.
@JustMe I find it easier to plan builds using an app rather than sitting looking at the weaponsmith screen and making pages of notes.
I have been using this builder: https://mhrise.wiki-db.com/sim/?hl=en
The only issue is relies on you knowing exactly what direction you want to go in, and as I'm using a new weapon for Rise I don't know what's best.
I'm currently working on a quick Sheath / Attack Boost build but not sure what else I would need - Using bows my builds were all about extra constitution and elemental damage.
I find it odd how some monsters with tails allow you to actually cut them off, but then others don't. Like, the world monsters let you cut their tails off and harvest stuff from them, but not the others. Not even the brand new ones.

Yeah, Diablos is slightly more challenging in this game, but he was a total pushover in World. Like, I feel like I'm fighting his grandma or something this generation. lol
EDIT: Welp, I overslept, finished watching youtube and all that, time to spend the rest of the day going for a gem. fights the monster once and gets a gem right there....oh, okay then. lol
So I went online the other day and instead of doing my story quest I grinded out the high rank quest before you reach rank 6, got all the armor, Now at rank 6 there is a Rathy And I want to get one of the most iconic armor sets ever, so wish me luck bc whats what I'm grinding when I'm done doing it by myself I will make a room so you guys can join if you want.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

It’s not a weapon I’m maining at the moment, but Long Sword is the technical weapon of Monster Hunter. It’s all about precision timing and counters. I used to main the weapon in MH3U but that was before it became a counter weapon.
I want to get good with this weapon and thankfully, one of the better long sword players I’ve seen has graced us with a tutorial to show us how it’s done.
Also, Basarios is amazing in Rise. And his weapons and armor are even better. Which is really impressive considering he was pretty boring in MH4U.
I love his hunting horn, but his charge blade is super sick. The shield has rocks on it like his back, with blue ice looking trim on the sword and the shield. It looks so good with his armor set.
