@mr_somewhere
I love them. Can't speak for anyone else but I think they're a blast. Particularly in multi-player. The single player ones are good for practicing but the harder ones with Apex Monsters are definitely designed around multi-player.
I can't wait to get more Apex Monsters now. They're terrifying and super aggressive.
@TeeJay
I was eyeing that set myself (the Hidden variant) but I need more Kamura tickets. The skills are so good. I like the look of the regular variant but the skills aren't nearly comparable.
@Snatcher
So glad to see you're enjoying it and finally getting into it. Takes a bit to learn the ropes at first, but once you do it's like scales falling from your eyes. Only then do you realize the true brilliance of the game.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
also i found two sub camps that I almost didnt notice when wandering around. One i found at the Frozen soemething while i found the other one at the beginning Ruins map land.
If you see a hole passageway you then better travel through it for the heck of it. Just saying and thats my personal opinion of experiencing finding those sub camps. Pretty much like in Monster Hunter World where you find those extra sub camps and then you have to go kill small groups of something like Izukis or whatever to complete the making of the sub camps.
Glad to hear people are enjoying Rampage as much as I am, sure as a single player addition it feels unbalanced but with a friend or two it's become a highlight for me.
I love Rampage and all the other modes as well. There is not one thing in this game so far that I have not found to be addictive and fun. The only complaint I have about it is the tutorials. It's not even that they're bad--they're fine I suppose. It's that they do a disservice to the elegance of the way this game was designed. I would tell anyone who is a veteran of hard core RPG games to just skip the tutorials for the most part. You'll figure it out on your own, because the game kind of forces you to. There is a steep learning curve even if you do read them beginning to end, so I would say just don't even bother.
The fighting is fun right from the start. I use dual blades and play more or less like it's a Soulsborne game, but where the game really clicked for me was when I figured out how the inventory system actually works. It's a system that I find to be so refined, useful, and customizable that any game I play from here on out that does NOT use that system is going to feel like a step backwards. I wish every RPG used loadouts and inventory items like this one does.
Literally the only complaints I have about this game are 1) It has the typical cheesy voice acting and 2) Some of the UI elements in the buddy area, such as sending out meowcenaries and trade agents, are super confusing at first.
..... unlocks Jyrutodus's urgent
...Ugh, well, at least he'll be slightly better than in World because of how the mud works in this game. >.> lol
Also, I'm glad this game auto-saves...wanted to post a screenshot onto Twitter and the system crashed while trying to post it (this is a first for me, wtf? lol) and forced me to restart it. >.<
I'm kind of bummed out that you can't just wear normal armor as layered armor in this game, since there's some armor sets I really really like the look of, but have terrible stats or buffs.
"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."
I'm going to guess that for whatever reason they're going to wait till the expansion. Apparently World did the same thing and when Iceborne happened we were able to use normal armor as layered.

@JaxonH Yeah the hidden variant is what I went for. It was no contest skillswise, haha.
If you're looking to try and get more Kumura tickets but have already done all the village quests like me, I got the last three I needed after doing the 1 star Jagras slaying quest five times. Takes like 2 minutes to do each time so it isn't that bad.
1. I did a dual Great Baggi hunt, encountered Lagombi, rode him and did some damage to the Baggi and eventually launched at it so I could mount the Baggi....Then rode the Baggi to the other on the opposite side of the map and launched into that one so I could mount THAT Baggi, used it to kill the first one and then launched the second one into the wall a few times. Yeah, why do people hate this mechanic again? xD
2. I think I figured out why I'm forced off a monster at random for seemingly no reason at all....apparently you have a very limited time after launching the monster into a wall to launch it again.
3. I dunno if World did this but...apparently in High Rank you don't start out in a random area anymore? You also still have all the supplies there...kinda bugs me, but...oh well. I know that in World there was a chance that you'd land right next to the monster, but you never spawned on a random area like in past games. >.<
@Joeynator3000
With fast travel it’s kind of pointless now. Unless it drops you in a secret area or next to the monster, which iirc, World got a patch to change it to only be those two when it randomly happened. With being able to climb anything, there’s really no secret areas you can’t already access through exploration. I suppose they could still drop you next to the monster but, eh. With the way this game is designed, I’m good with it either way.
I only had a nightmare about Gigginox because of my first encounter with it was scary...and it was my first MH game too. xD (Tri)
I heard about all these monsters and apparently Gigginox was the "quiet" type that would lurk in the darkness on ceilings and stuff...alright, cool, whatever. I decide to do a Bloodstone quest and started gathering in the caves (this was Tri, not 3U, so the caves were DARK), before I knew it I heard Giggi's roar and I was like "Holy crap!" so i completely ditch what I was doing and ran into one of the other cave areas. Thought I would take a breather after hearing that but...nope, seconds later Giggi followed me. lol
So, yeah...had a nightmare of it constantly stalking me. xD
