Ok so...love the title, been a MH fan fornearly 20 years. But...but...the one thing that infuriates me the most (I only found a way to beat this on MHWorld) is when you either cap or kill the target you are stuck in this stupid screen looking at a dead or sleeping monster when you could be doing beneficial things like grabbing shinys or mining that node over there. MHWorld was a button click to stop this sequence right away and after (I think) pressing every single button, I cannot get how to stop that sequence in MHRise. How did this make it past the years of testing? No one said, "Since we're adding so many variances to speed things up like riding and even speed bursts for said mounts and wirebugs, shouldn't we add a way to skip or end any film sequence?". As you can tell this reeeaaalllllllyyyy bugs me. If anyone knows how and I stupidly just missed or never tried the correct button, please respond. I'm losing my shiz ova heer.

There’s end game. Rampages, talisman melding and armor/weapon set farming can last hundreds of hours. This game in particular has Rampage weapons as well, and special Rampage skills for weapons. But there’s no end game like Guiding Lands in Iceborne or anything. But this game in particular, with the way they’ve done charm farming, lends itself well to end game content trying to get the perfect talisman with the perfect skills and as many slots as possible, Not to mention, the armor and weapons in this game aren’t made obsolete like they were in World where one weapon dominated all else, so variety is very much viable. Which means grinding for various different sets and weapons is going to be very appealing at the end of the game.
And that right there is what I’m going to be doing. I want almost every single armor set I’ve seen lol. They’re all SO GOOD! I’m going to spend an ungodly amount of time melding talismans as I farm all the various armor sets and weapons I want.
But there is a conclusion to the mainline story coming in the second title update with the final form of the end boss. I suspect it’ll be one final boss quest added, which, don’t get me wrong I’m all for it, but it’s not a massive chunk of content or anything. The meat of the title update content is in getting nearly a 10 more monsters added to the roster. 4 in the first update along with unlocked HR cap, and 5 in the second update along with the conclusion to the story.

@hiddensong
It’s like, 10 seconds? Hardly something I care about.
But if it really bothers you that much, all you have to do is wire bug into the air and press A to hang right before the timer ends. This will skip that 10 second quest ending sequence.

@JaxonH Ikr? World just finished its update life like a few months ago. I mean look how long Capcom was actively adding content and new monsters. There will be more and more content and bookoo endgame fo sho. letem kno Jaxon! lol
Yeah...I was expecting him to be just Redhelm...he's...much worse. Especially when he ends up summoning more monsters to make things even more hectic. xD

Keep it PG-13-ish.
@Mountain_Man
Lots of situations, actually. Too many to list, but I’ll try.
For one, let’s say Mizutsune fires his water beam in all directions. You don’t have time to run away or run towards him to avoid it. You can wiredash into the air and press A to hang until the beam passes underneath you. Same for Somnacanth with his 360 degree sleep attack.
Another example would be precision platforming. Sometimes I’m on a shed roof and need to get to the lower level ledge without falling to the ground. I’ll walk off and immediate press A to hang, then jump in the direction of the ledge.
The most important though is wall climbing. This technique allows you to climb any mountain peak in the game, no matter how high. Either jump into a wall off a Palamute’s back while the Palamute is dashing, or wiredash into a wall, then hold the run button to run as far up the wall as possible until your stamina depletes. Once it fully depletes, your hunter will automatically jump off the wall. Immediately press A to hang. While you are hanging, your stamina is regenerating. As soon as your stamina is full again, use B to jump toward the wall and then wiredash back into the wall and hold the run button to run further up the wall. While you are running up the wall, your wire bugs are regenerating. And the cycle continues. Because you need both stamina and wirebugs to run up a wall, but one regenerates while running up the wall and the other regenerates while hanging, you can literally run up any wall no matter how high.
And, you can skip the quest complete sequence if you hang before the 60 second timer ends (or 10 second timer for captures).
@urrutiap
First few seconds can’t be skipped, but pressing B will skip after a few seconds time.
Capcom just announced 5 million copies now after 1 week post-launch, versus the 4 million it had 2 days post launch. That’s another million it’s added in like 5-6 days.
This game very well may break records for a single platform at this rate, and once PC is factored in, may come within a stone’s throw of World. That’s unbelievable.

How are people enjoying the Rampage Quests? I've seen a fair few people complaining online but I've had a lot of fun doing them with my brother. They're intense and I can't do them back to back because it stresses me out but a worthy addition for sure, hope they add more than just additional apex monsters to it, different instillations or maps would be a nice change of pace.
Phew, just spent a couple hours getting mats for the Utushi set; I'm pretty proud of it. The whole set requires 10 Kumura tickets total, which only seem to be handed out for doing many village quests. That and a hodgepodge of mats from all different monsters. Gotta love those kinds of sets.
Then I got a nice poison hammer and managed to slot in level 2 Slugger along with my level 3 Exhaust, among other skills that would be boring to list. Just need to make a couple Poison gems and this set will be perfect.
@mr_somewhere I enjoy the rampages a lot, especially in multiplayer. I can tell you it's a heck of a lot more interesting than those quests where you shoot cannons at a giant monster all day, like Zora Magdoros.
Yall I just got MHR, its downloading now going to have to wait a bit tho LOL. Its really cool bc I stoped playing mhw three years back and needless to say I was, um not to good at it but for the past two weeks I have played nothing but mhw and now I feel like I should get rise or Gen, and I did I was playing the demo early in the day and and the first time I played the demo I could not do the 2nd hunt by myself, but today I did it by myself and cut the tail off which I bet its easy for you guys but was a big step for me, I was finally getting good at the game I wasn't 3 years ago, so to make sure I wasn't just bc rise was easy'er I went back and played MHG which before I couldn't even beat one hunt, but today I beat the 2nd hunt and cut the tail off with only 30s left.
I know this is pretty long way to say "I got the game" but I waited on this game bc I just didn't feel like I was good at it yet and neede d to go back to world, not only that I didn't really solo hunts so all of this Is a big step for me (I know I said it already) I can't wait for it to download and I want to thank @JaxonH for helping me get back into the series, I wouldn't have went back to get better at world if He didn't. (Thanks if you red all of this) (And sorry for the spelling I'm kinda just poring my thoughts onto this page)
@mr_somewhere I just unlocked the first Rampage quest for either the Village outside main quests or the Gathering Hub. I might try it out later today since Im doing a couple of the 2 star low rank stuff
last night while i was climbing up some of the higher cliffs in the first two main maps the Frozen something and the other land i found two Relic things. Nice addition for a new Monster Hunter game. Sometime else in the game with lore to entertain you while youre not going around killing monster animals and riding cowboy on a blueish/purple dog
