I've been waiting for this game half my life. More than that even. I think after going so long without a Mega Man, and then having all hopes crushed with MN9, that I was a little bit hesitant to get excited for this.
But now after seeing the newer gameplay clips... I'm throwing caution to the wind. It's the first, modern, HD classic Mega Man game ever! And how appropriate that its 11. Almost like startin back over at 1 again, with the 10 previous entries of the 8-bit era behind us (although technically not all 10 of them were 8-bit, but who's keeping track anyways).
Amiibo edition preordered. X Collection preordered. And I am going to play through MM 1-4 before this game comes out, just to get back in the spirit of the franchise.

Can't preorder the game but still gonna buy it - as well as the X Collection and replayed MM 2-10 the last two week and now I replaying MM 1 after playing through it 2 months ago on the NES.
If you haven't played Mighty Gunvolt Burst - I recommend it. As a preparation to Megaman Legacy Collection I played through that game with all 9 characters and before that I played the Azure Striker Gunvolt Striker Pack and I am still waiting eagerly on X Legacy Collection and MM 11 - I just love that Jump N Shoot genre and especially Megaman - my all time favorite series.
I even bought all the ARCHIE Comics this year which was not that easy to get a hold on here in Germany. For all 54 issues plus all the Sonic issues due to the 2 crossovers - I spent more than 300 €. But they were worth it - read all of them with my oldest son (3 yrs) and we are currently reading Megaman NT Warriors of which I also bought all 13 volumes plus the two Megaman ZX mangas. Unfortunately, the Megaman X and Zero series exist only in Japanese.
Don't forget people, Switch is region free. If NA gets a physical release, you basically have the same access to a physical release. People complained about it all last generation. But now we have it.
So by all means, import. And thank Nintendo every day they gave us that option. I've already imported 3 games from the UK that NA didn't get and 2 JP games.
@NintendoPete
Yup I've played it. Surprisingly good game actually.

True but somehow in this case Amazon.com does not deliver this game to Germany. Usually they do. But I just saw that gamestop.de has Megaman for pre-order - so maybe there will be an European version. Right now it says 60€ but I guess that is false. If true I will pre-order at play-asia for 26€ even though I will have to wait a couple of weeks due to shipping.
okay - just ordered at play asia - total amount is approx. 39 € incl. customs duty and shipping costs. Actually a great deal - I guess that you have to pay 29€ on eshop.
Sometimes it can be a little more expensive to import but, since it's not that many games "percentage-wise" in the grand scheme of things, it's usually not that big of a deal to me.

the only downside is that I probably can't play it on release date. And I won't get the new amiibo, but that is okay I'd rather prefer a Protoman amiibo anyway

What do you mean not on release date? Those who advocate they won't get the Amiibo are saying they want it. If one didn't want the Amiibo package and in US they they can order the standard version 11 without evening mentioning wanting the Amiibo. I ordered the 11 with Amiibo it cost more but then again you will pay Scalpers the next time around to get the Amiibo. Nintendo Amiibo are hot ticket items and those in demand will take $$ and even then if your building the collection like me and others be ready to spend $$ on Amiibos. I don't use all the Amiibo but knowing I have them and should I ever use some of them I have that option.
I'm already locked in with the amiibo in tow, but this stream might be useful to anyone on the fence. I'll be tuning in, regardless. Can't get me enough Mega Man!
Because I have to import the physical edition which takes time. Btw: Now Amazon.com ships to Germany. So I canceled my pre-order at play asia and ordered it at Amazon.com . It is a couple of € cheaper and shipping is presumably faster
A demo for Mega Man 11 will launch on September 4, a listing for the “Mega Man 11 Demo Version” on the Xbox Games Store reveals.
The demo will allow players to “take on all kinds of enemies and traps in the Block Man stage” and “use the new Double Gear system to slow down time or power up your shots and take down that boss.”
Mega Man 11 is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 2.
