It's not ironic at all, there just needs to be a balance. I think this game should have just focused on it being a good co-op experience (as in just 2 players). It's a lot rarer that you're going to have 3-4 people to complete the whole game with and I don't like having 4 helpings destroying everything just for me to do a small puzzle. It breaks the flow considerably. There was nothing wrong with the way it worked in Return to Dreamland.
I wonder what the 2nd playthrough will be like...Will it be just like any other (enemies do more damage, plus the EX bosses), or will it also be like you can only have one ally at a time or something. Doubt it'll go that far, but it would be neat.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
Kirby games were never hard in the main modes to begin with, wait until you beat it and unlock the "Plus" version. I guarantee you Whispy Woods EX will give you a harder time then.
Also the True Arena always shows up in every game since Superstar Ultra, those are a nightmare to deal with.
I never did beat the True Arena in Planet Robobot. I think it's the only mode left in that game left incompleted, lol.
I only ever beat the True Arena in Super Star Ultra.
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.
Played the demo a bit there this morning. I can't say I like it. I don't hate it, but I think it's a little shallow somehow. Plenty of character in the game, but no soul.

Kirby ate all the souls of the characters in the game.
The game, especially early on, feels as though it's coming hot on the heels of Kirby's 25th. There's no specific Anniversary release like for the 20th, but the Twitter account has been releasing promotional artwork.
Many classic bosses return (even freaking Pon & Con), you have an eclectic cast of Kirby's rogues gallery to play with or as, even to the point of revamping existing ones (Como, Broom Hatter and Plugg, oh man, Plugg, I couldn't believe any of the lazily designed minor enemies from Crystal Shards would ever come back, but he's here, and he's adorable), and the game starts, from Kirby's perspective at any rate, like his very first adventure. Castle Dedede's interior in particular has never looked better or more faithful, and it's theme is a wonderful medley of Kirby's Dream Land, Revenge of the King and Castle Dedede itself.
I may be in the minority, but the more I replay the demo, the more I want the game.
I think the little puzzles involving the allies are fun, and I tend to get to most enemies before they do, so they haven't really gotten in my way (I think they do make bosses a tad too easy, however, I noticed that at least two of them tend to be down to half health at the end of the Dedede battle, so maybe later bosses will eliminate them rather quickly).
@RR529 Same... I'll probably get over it when I get the game.
@Dev Dark Matter returning, or some form of him is one of the reasons I want this game... I wish we had a form of Whisper like his fight in Dreamland 3 where he just unroots and just starts running towards you.
@Dev They really pay attention to the elements you use in this game, with many enemies being more vulnerable to certain types. I can see Francisca weak to electricity and Flamberge to ice or water. And though Dedede himself isn't weak to anything, the grimy food he throws can be cleaned with water.
I am not looking at spoilers but its great that they changed peoples minds. Honestly I didn't like the demo much at first, and I love Kirby to this day, but the 30fps really hurt for some reason. Usually I don't mind 30, so it was very odd, but after a couple of playthroughs of the demo I am used to it. Don't get me wrong I would prefer 60, but the 30 just takes some getting used to.
Also I hope they make Kirby pink joycons, the neon pink isn't close enough ;(
People might think I'm childish for my picture, and I am.
Favorite games: Super Mario Odyssey, Super Metroid, Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption, and Sonic Generations
If you like Kirby, then you are a person I can trust.
I'm not sure how I feel about this game. I have other Kirby games but the multi-player aspect seems like it will get annoying. I will only ever play this as single player but seeing all those health bars and tags on all the characters that say "CPU" and "P1" I think could be very annoying...
