Wait, I missed that, Marx will be playable?!

Decided to put in the pre-order on Amazon. I've played the demo twice through each day since downloading it, so it's doing something right.

Didn't know there'd been leaks before coming in to post this. I'm going to avoid them to stay suprised, but good to hear it'll be full of content.

I was trying out the demo with the joy cons and decided to just mess around.

The difficulty isn't low because of allies, it's low because it's Kirby.

I’ve played a lot of Kirby games (all of the non-Gameboy titles) basically. I don’t understand why people are upset about how easy it it. All Kirby games are basically easy and the only one that stands out as a bit of a challenge was Super Star.

It seems that preorders for this game are sold out on Amazon.

Not overly excited for this but I'll probably pick it up at some point.

The game releases on March 16th and the first free update (including extra characters) is available March 28th. Why?

@Monkey_Balls The game's possibly releasing before it's fully ready. This is the first new release by Nintendo in 2018. And only the second, after the port of Bayonetta/2. They may have been desperate to get a new game out and clear the decks to promote Labo which releases next month.

@Monkey_Balls perhaps most people have finished the game 2 or 3 times by then and they might like something new for their 4th playthrough

Wait, according to those reviews, do you get no allies during that second main game mode? (where you play as the other characters)

@Joeynator3000 No, you can still get allies like normal.

Amazon shipped my copy in the early morning so it'll be here tomorrow (maybe even after I get home from work tonight, even though I'm not holding my breath).

@Snaplocket They've probably started to dispatch it - so that you could receive it on the launch day.

@Snaplocket I'm the other way round. I actually managed to cancel my pre-order yesterday and now I'm thinking actually, maybe I shouldn't have!

My pre-order just arrived early. I'll give it a go with the lady tonight.

Mixed reviews? It's a 73 on metacritic. That's pretty good since the majority of Kirby games sit between 73 and 81, with Battle Royale at 57, while Mass Attack and Epic Yarn are at 83 and 86

If you're waiting for a perfect score Kirby game you'll be waiting a long time.
